We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

A basic unsatisfactoriness pervading all forms of existence, due to the fact that all forms of life are changing, impermanent and without any inner core or substance. On this level, the term indicates a lack of satisfaction, a sense that things never measure up to our expectations or standards.

This anxiety about change, continual birth and death, is a cornerstone of all this nondual hoopla too. I'm not sold on it. Why do we accept this notion that what is real is only what does not change?

The Truth is defined as that which does not change. Why do we accept that definition? Etymologically, it's related to faithfulness. Remaining unchanged despite the winds of change. Truth means no change. Everything changes but the Truth. If, as Silver conjectures, there is no Truth, then it simply is the case that Everything Changes. But that would be true. Well maybe it changes every once in a while?? haha um well But still it's very abstract, this concept of Truth.

'Truth' is an ideology, a belief about something that doesn't change.. history is littered with dead 'truths', ideas once believed to be 'truth' and deceased when the belief realized that the idea was not accurate.. the search for 'truth' is the fear of liberation, where the absence of 'truth' leaves nothing to attach to.. Sometimes we think something is true and we find out later, it isnt or that isn't the whole story / big picture, if you will... Truth as in telling the truth, is usually based on what we want it to be. And then we've got 'scientific' truths or facts - it's never ever quite the whole enchilada.
