Many many insights and realizations are coming lately, too many to list or keep up with here Everything from the backward view that we have of sleep, dreams, and waking life, to the flows of energy and awareness and how they relate to meditaion and Samadhi So many insights and realizations, thay seem to come like a dawning in the body and mind in that in between of being in Samadhi and back to mind centeredness. But a realization on insights/realizations themselves just occurred. For the same reason that woo woo experiences should not be clung to, realizations should not be pondered or understood, the "knowing" of a realization should be let go of just as woo woo experiences should be. This is because realizations and insights are for doing, they are for action, not for knowing or pondering, realizations are there for a kind of body knowledge, not mind knowledge or wisdom, when a realization occurs, it is felt deeply in the body and the mind, the body knows what to do with the insights, the mind should not interfere of try to understand them or ponder them or make sense of them. When mind does this, it inhibits the action of the realization, and realizations are for action, for being, not for knowing. Let go of all knowledge and understanding of your insights and realizations, let the body make use of them when and if they are of use. Don't cling to them, don't try to live by them, for the same reason that you don't cling to woo woo experiences, don't cling to realizations and insights. Don't make any special note of your realizations and insights, even though they may temp you to do so just as woo woo experiences do. Realizations are of no lesser or greater value than woo woo experiences Don't ponder over them, don't cling to them Realizations are for doing, not for knowing. Don't develop or maintain attachments to woo woo experiences, regular experiences, or realizations and insights. For the purposes of clarity,: We may all define insights or realizations as something different, but what I am talking anout here is that exoeridnce we all have had, where a realization occurs that leaves one with a feeling of spaciousness and openness in both the mind and body.....these types of realizations ahave a very powerful affect on us, that can create an attachment. Don't let realization or insights become a sacred cow that your mind clings to and builds a belief system around that you can become absorbed in. Agree. Many realizations come with the same kind of euphoria and bliss as woo-woo experiences (probably because brain chemistry is changed and endorphins are released), but eventually these side effects dissipate, and the path leads farther into the unknown, manifesting as direct action and direct perception in the infinity of NOW. The farther one goes, figuratively speaking, the less the mind reflects or lingers anywhere. At a certain point language becomes incapable of expressing or describing the resulting fluidity of mind or the psychological absorbtion in "what is."

Steve, you'd get to permanent relative samadhi faster if you would plug the hole through which this oral diahria is coming out of. Diarrhea or diarrhoea (from the Greek ??, dia "through" + rheo "flow" meaning "flowing through The flow of light takes on the coloring of the crystal as it passes through. The flow of water takes on the quality of what inhabits the intestine as it passes through. And the flow coming out of Steve is similarly embued by his mind. *pinches nose and begins to talk nasally* Given the smell and flavor of what is flowing through his mind, maybe strangling it with samadhi is precisely what he needs.

I don't know anything about ascension. Mind is always "at home," but when it talks incessantly to itself, it can be a big distraction.

Seems to me that there is one Ultimate Realization and a thousand and one lesser realizations. I agree, none of them should be held onto mentally nor an identity made of any of them. Self-realization is the ultimate as it is the realization of who you are that often comes as the result of wondering at the riddle of "personal" existence i.e. who am I and why am I here? The lesser realizations seem to be the result of wondering about the nature of wider existence or creation. Why does the sun rise in the east and set in the west? What did he mean when he said that? What makes the tides work? What is lightening? Why did she feel the need to have her nose redone when it was already so beautiful? Why is the sky blue? Why don't birds feet freeze in the winter? The understanding of the mystery of creation seems irresistible to some and the discovery (the ah-ha experience) a joy second only to the Ultimate.

Greetings.. At a certain point language becomes incapable of expressing or describing the resulting fluidity of mind or the psychological absorbtion in "what is." Nicely articulated... it seems to me that language does have the capacity to convey or relate the experience of 'fluidity without resistance', i feel it is the great works of poets, lyricists, in the energy and imagery of great orators and artists that have the experience to draw upon.. but no, no one can hand you a book that absolutely and accurately describes 'realization', well, unless the pages are blank.. Precisely.. and, that is the primary intention of the journey, clear away the distractions, reveal the fluid dynamism of 'what is'.. from which flows a natural resonance with what is actually happening.. Be well..

If you are going to be journeying that high, it's a good idea to bring along a bunch of people who are willing to remind you that your sh.it stinks just like everyone else's.

I'll be jumping in the shower soon. *holds arm up* Want to take a whiff? My boys are entering the age where farting and potent stinks are being savored like the flavors of fine wines. Don't develop or maintain attachments to woo woo experiences, regular experiences, or realizations and insights. Unqualified agreement with this. In addition, it's been my experience that the thinker will be surprised when the implications of a realization are spoken of ... in these instances, the realization, which isn't a creature of time or of rational thinking mind, can take on the appearance of something useful in directing the thinker away from whatever underlying question sparked the process of thought.

And writing about it in this discussion board? Me thinks idiot has a place in the process of self realisation... it seems to be stationary between the levels of ascension an here also when we return. #1 idiot I'm not familiar with your style Alfio, coud you clarify? Or are you just calling me an idiot?
