A rather fidgety child once went to his uncle and asked the Uncle:
"What is the nature of the glowing slime under the rock."
The Uncle explained about algae and phosphorescence and the slime's bio-chemistry, but the child just kept saying that the Uncle was wrong, and that he would have to prove what he was saying.
And so the Uncle gave the child a really top notch microscope and some decent instructions on how to use it.
The child, being somewhat fidgety and impatient by nature, put the microscope to his eye and tried to look at the glowing slime, but he just wouldn't sit still enough to be able to see through the microscope.
The child, growing frustrated, began to throw a temper tantrum because he could not see through the microscope properly. He called the Uncle a liar and a crazy old man, threw the Microscope into the dirt, and insults his uncle for lying and giving him a broken microscope every time he sees him. All the while the patient Uncle just keep politely telling the child to try the Microscope again, but this time practice being still with the microscope, so he can see through it properly.
But the child will have none of it, and to this day, insults his uncle and the microscope as deluded and useless every chance he gets...
Moral of the story?
If you can't sit still and look, then don't blame the gift giver or the machinery for not working properly lol
