Prior to manifesting difference there is no possibility of having any intention. So if you refuse to let your god be called "stupid" because of that then you would also have to cancel the entire thought-experiment. If you still want your experiment then you also have to live with the consequence that your god might be stupid. Hi Bambi, In the experiment described there is only you. There is no me and my God unless you appear as the illusion of a separate me and my God. In that appearance I cannot utter a single word unless you speak. amit My point was that once you allow differentiation, then you must allow for the whole thing, stupidity included. It's not logically consistent to be so selective with what you allow the hypothetical creator to have or not have. Hi Bambi, If such a god is believed in by you then yes for you it would be as you describe I guess. I would be interested to know what it is about that God that attracts you? amit I'm a total athiest. What is remarkable about this version of the christian religion is that god is making himself obsolete. We have the same thing when Jesus complains that god has forsaken him, and when he (the son of god!) is betrayed and murdered. What the christians then are left with is the holy spirit of community, without a higher power to watch over them. This is unheard of. I don't think there is another religion/ideology that is so honest in its subtext.

Hi Bambi, "My point was that once you allow differentiation, then you must allow for the whole thing, stupidity included. It's not logically consistent to be so selective with what you allow the hypothetical creator to have or not have" It would be up to you what appeared and whether there was what you regard as stupidity, logic, and consistency. You would be appearing as me in your creation if you allowed me to appear. It would be you deciding how I thought, felt, and behaved. I would be like a glove puppet with your hand up my trousers. "What are you doing here" squeaked Sooty:) "I'm a total athiest. What is remarkable about this version of the christian religion is that god is making himself obsolete.
