Sleep. Everytime a raw insight pops up, a caress of the ungraspable vastness, my systems just want to shut down and go to sleep, pretty much instantly. Half minute of not having a practical action focus to deal with and I fall asleep. On the city bus, on my chair, even standing at times. I don't know what it is: feels like it could be a preference towards oblivion. I don't want to analyze too much because it feels natural and definitely what must happen now. Kind of the opposite of awakening or the idea I have of it. La siesta!

Haha....I made a post about my woo woo experiences lately, and the part that I described as "visions" are what you are talking about
I kept wanting to close my eyes and go to sleep all the time...like 20 hours a day if I could.
I just kinda went with it, because it felt "right", eventually the sleep became less but the urge to close my eyes and let go was there just as much, but when I closed my eyes mind mind would relax, as in sleep, but I would get this stream of images appearing, that felt..."right"...like a kind of healing.
I can't describe it other than it all just felt right, and I could sense that it was doing something to me, something important, but I have no idea what is was.
It passed though, and my mind settles into stillness more often, but the all day sleep ran its course, and I'm not sleeping so much now ;-)
Just go with it bro...the body/mind knows what it needs, and there's no real need for you to understand it for you to benefit from it in some unknown way :-)

Sleep is my favorite. It's a reset button, movie time, adventure time, and rests my body all at the same time.

You are just rebooting like a computer would have after downloading a program or an upgrade.

That's why it goes to sleep when the mind stops, at the precise time it should be staying awake...

Maybe the word beingness is too abstract for my sleepy head.

But at the mo and aside from intense and sharp thinking at work, incessant thinking is largely numbed by incessant sleepiness!
