Mine is neither of those--so high-pitched as to defy description (but I sometimes get the munchkin, as well as the Ommmm). 'Tis a wall of sound over which I must hear, and I *can* hear, but I have to be consciously listening over that wall.

Golly, there are so many of you with tinnitus - You all should have a support group or something.
I had it years and years ago for a time, but it eventually just went away, thank goodness.

My ears are fine. Seems like I'm missing out.

My ears are fine. Seems like I'm missing out. If you pray really hard and create an LOA vision board, you too could have your own little "ommm-er, screamer, hummer or teemer" in your ear.

Wow,... So many people with tinnitus mine's been around for 20 years or so. Its always there but I don't always notice it. Thankfully I'm ok with it these days and that its not too intrusive.

My ears are fine. Seems like I'm missing out. If it's aliens talking to us from another vibrational level, you are so missing out. C'mon special people. Meet you at the mother-ship.

I had a really bad ear infection once. I never knew how many nerves were actually in that little sucker until they were all activated at once. In fact, I learned that the ear even has a G spot! Supposedly the Vietnamese have honed ear tickling as an art.

QUOTE - Whiteshaman ... If you decide to join in and life makes sense to you then please explain why you feel that way. UNQUOTE Hey James First up, its lovely to see your name emerge ... Life makes sense to me because it is all i know ... even in those moments when i feel like I am 'removed' from it all, it is 'still life' ... and the other little factor that makes sense to me in this moment is that i have just acquired what is commonly 'known' as a sweet grandchild named 'Jack' ... I reckon that there is no-one online i have had greater pleasure sharing that with than you WS ... simply because i know, through what you have expressed in the past, how much sense that makes to you

Just teasing you. I love lunch. Sorry to hear you've joined the tinnitus gang. Mine seems totally random, sometimes drowns people out, sometimes barely noticeable. I'm used to it now, though. It's like my little singing friend. With the high-pitched voice. That won't go away. Mine started with my first pregnancy, 14 years ago, and then left shortly before my son was born. It returned 3 yrs. later, with my second....was actually how I knew I was pregnant again! I had just had lunch and had gotten up to clean up and suddenly, Right ear starts ringing......a big smile....7 the thought, "I'm knocked up"!! This time, it stayed, and continues today. Dr's now say it's related to MS. Anyway, it's funny how at first, I began thinking, "Oh my God, what if this never goes...I'd go crazy"...and now, I might actually miss that continuous humming if it were to suddenly abate. It's become an odd sort of constant that provides a not altogether unpleasant, backdrop of sound.....almost as though there's a little dude in my head chanting, "Ommmmmmmmmmm...." Too late! (** runs for cover **)
