How do we get so much mileage out of the loss of just one person? Would we be so inclined to write all these lines if they were Just fine and dandy?

The little girl in me says Will all our voices ever be as one? Whoah, just think of all the power. Do we want to generate all that or Should it stay fragmented and scattered?
What of those who say we really have no will? There are those who think things should be - different. Some say things 'll never change. Some say don't Give up hope, the day will come…but for what Lots of people say we can have what we want
Shape it, roll it, even poke it a little and voila. I see lots of folks not having a good time of it here. What of them and their dreams? You say they gave up? They have no more dreams? Somebodies stole their dreams? Yeah, I hear that.

I saw this Walt Whitman quote as a signature of somebody on another forum, and I liked it, so I checked out some more of his stuff and enjoyed quite a few of them:
All goes onward and outward, nothing collapses, And to die is different from what any one supposed, and luckier. ~Walt Whitman
There is no week nor day nor hour when tyranny may not enter upon this country, if the people lose their roughness and spirit of defiance. Walt Whitman
The genius of the United States is not best or most in its executives or legislatures, nor in its ambassadors or authors or colleges, or churches, or parlors, nor even in its newspapers or inventors, but always most in the common people. Walt Whitman
A morning-glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books. Walt Whitman

How can the pain of losing you not be as deep as the love I have for you? but it's a spiral, and I'm screwed.

Yeah, I have quite a story I've been nibbling on it For so long
Like that sandwich Homer couldn't throw away even after days turned into weeks.
Why IS it so tasty? Is it tasty? Why do I keep nibbling on it?!
I like stories Just like Homer does. But this one sucks!
Do we get accustomed to Its taste, its texture, its aroma? Why?
I've been meaning To clean out that fridge Who or what can help me?

An online friend talked about one-half of a couple Who were such an inspiration to her, so full of love For each other, and the other half having lost the fight…
A couple who were friends of a b/f of mine from ages ago Were almost always seen holding hands, hardly ever apart It was such a lovely thing to see people caring and being close.
Knowing that my mom's first marriage was referred to as A marriage made in heaven…is that what happened to my Mom's and dad's marriage? Who could compete with that, aye?

THE END Take education from my reservation Destroy my Native way, Appoint a thief to be my chief, Force me to obey, Drive me insane with prison and chain, Ruin my life and name[...] Teach me to lie, be afraid to die, To follow a coward's lead; Encourage me to steal and double deal, To worship sex, violence and greed. When you're done and have had your fun, And I finally become like you, Remember the man with whom you stand Can do the same thing too. There will be a day when we have our way Your rule will reach an end, Then I'll be your worst enemy, Though I used to be an friend. by Sonny Lone Pine Leavenworth (from The Hunter) Pasted from www.spiritualforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=52201

breakingdefense.com/2013/05/30/no-longer-unthinkable-should-us-ready-for-limited-nuclear-war/?icid=maing-grid7%7Cmaing6%7Cdl25%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D320818I give you this link because I know that my son was savvy and up on all of the various bombs, weapons and accoutrements of modern-day war. I was incredibly shocked at his vast knowledge of these things at such a young age. Shocked. He seemed happy to know about these things and drank it up like a sponge. Way back then, I shrugged because for all I knew, most young males were 'into' this kind of thing, whether they had any desire to join the military or go to war. He had enough reason to check out early within his own personal realm, but maybe knowing what will be more than likely coming down the pike was the icing on the cake. Something is pushing me to share this, and anymore, and for quite some time, I don't ignore this 'something'.

I had a particularly hard day Was home by afternoon Got so tired A thing or two pricked my Heart and soul bringing To mind memories of loss… Overwhelming fatigue Racked my whole being I let the tears fall As I sank into my chair, I could hear a running brook And started to feel As if the brook were taking me ….no, I'm - I am the brook But only for a split second… I have to stay here - I am here I wouldn't want it to run away with me Would I?

Remember in the good old days When someone would say to you That you 'look a little peak-ed today'?
~smile~ how sweet it is to have Someone notice your appearance and Find themselves concerned with your Wellbeing and state of mind. What is it That makes it any of their concern? Is that love? It could be…or just them Injecting themselves into your life To control or manipulate.
How the other side of the coin of love Can be so easily flipped and abracadabra ~ Is changed into such insecurity which leads to A penchant to control or manipulate…

Nice sound. Do you understand the lyrics? Haha, no. I know it's Japanese mixed with some English words. When I first heard this song years ago I actually thought it was all in English although I couldn't understand anything, haha. Nice song, really. Do you understand it?
