Well, it's time to unveil the new website. Could be nobody will see it here but i didn't want to create any more distraction in the general discussion section. The focus on happiness may seem odd to some here, but it's really an attempt to avoid as much religious and spiritual malarky as possible, and connect to the common desire to be free of suffering that all humans experience. The subject is approached from a 'self actualization' perspective, in relationships, and discusses inner peace. (the latter may be of most interest to peeps here as it basically collapses the whole happy/unhappy dynamic) There's also a section that challenges myths about happiness which has been kinda fun for me. Anyhoo, it's an ongoing project, so if there's any interest, you can subscribe to the RSS feed or post comments on any of the articles if you're so inclined. www.realizinghappiness.com

I have started to read some of the articles. It's great! I immediately began to think of conversations with people where it would have been great to be able to point them to a site like this. No doubt there will be plenty of opportunities to do so in the future.

Cool. I think you're the first human to see the site, so thanks for the feedback.

I concur, just read the front page and it has definately got me interested in reading more.
Ps. You look exactly how I imagined! Weird! (Not that I was specifically imagining you...oh you know what I mean!)

The only thing left to do is to convince Google or Oprah to list your site near the top of search results. And a big promise on the first page wouldn't hurt either!

(Or Opras's, whoever has the most 'pull'.) As for promises, you're absolutely right, but lying through my teeth doesn't come naturally to me, though I'm working on it.

Maybe you can use the title: "The Power of Authentic Happiness"
