With me the trying to understand just happens. But I don't experience that here too often.
But often lost in thought, I find myself giving imaginary lectures to imaginary people and feeling imaginary respect. *puke*

Well, but that has to be understood. Hehe. All seriousness aside, the focus is on seeing such illusions for what they are, which is not the same as intellectual understanding. UG points to the fact that the seeking is done to sustain the seeker, and so the seeker does not want to find what he pretends to be looking for. I've said the same here many times. Understanding the concept is useless. Acting on that understanding by stopping the seeking is a seeking game. Seeing it clearly squishes the seeker into a little greasy spot. The point is, what seeker, sustained only by the seeking, wants to see this?
