Who you are in a nutshell... ...is rather a delusional aspect of the mind. It's the illusion saying 'ah, I've figured out who I am'. Not that I'm an illusion, but that I am consciousness, or that which is prior to consciousness. See how the mind always directs attention away from itself? It's the tail wagging the dog syndrome and we fall for it every time. The one who thinks it knows who you are, cannot in any way shape or form, know, what or who you are... Carse and the other spiritual teachers, point at what we are, by showing us what we are not. To suggest that who and what we are can be reduced to a few succinct concepts, is the epitome of the audacity of the ego, in it's formulation of our reality, according to TRF... ...which is of course, what 'Is' LOL  |

Who I am in a nutshell? Suppose I might be a nut. Inside this particular human shell? Suspect that I'm a nut. Just got this image of a hermit crab crawling into a shell. Nothing to do with any thing I suppose. I look for what is looking, there is only the seen. Nothing makes any sense. I could say "no-thing" is the only sense. Sounds cute, might be true. Sometimes (if he's lucky, an entire day)(Bullnuts!{nuts is the acceptable term for shit} An entire hour!) I set up my parameters. "Meet everything as the no-thing that you are". The container. I don't really set up those parameters. I see/feel something. Seems interesting. THIS IS UNDOUBTABLY THE WAY! Vow to hold that something. Can't hold on to anything. Do hold on to the misery of all prior experience. Hell! If I didn't hold on to that I wouldn't be here! Can't say I want any response. Might say I don't want any response. That which is eternally present is right here, right now. Never born.
Must say, this is crap I have heard. What the hell is any one talking about? I AM looking. I AM every experience that I have. I think without that experience I would not be.

not terribly knowledgeable about this site. No swearing. Different things to different people. I respect that. Seems a bit extreme. Then again, I don't like crap on my doorstep.
