Deepak Chopra getting some action at OccupyWallStreet Here's one of Michael Moore too: I find the 'human microphone' to be inspiring..."because this isn't my voice, or his voice, or her voice, but all of our voices..." thanks Prophet, Greed has always tried to OWN everything.

May you live in interesting times
May you come to the attention of those in authority
May you find what you are looking for.

As an aside, if the fed lowered interest rates on payouts and stopped making it so profitable to borrow money at a lower rate from the fed and then park the money at a higher interest rate in nonconsumer nonbusiness lending there be A lot more jobs created.

no college for me, hit a bong at age 13, and that was that. love learning though. just a guess .. but it seems like, when you step back from "my story, you become more amenable to learning about different things
bu bu but ...the Fed should contract their balance sheet, raise interest rates, and flush all the bad debt out of the system. Of course that would immediately put all of the big banks into insolvency, and they wouldn't get their bonuses, so that's a non starter. lol
stagflation now, then deflation, then hyperinflation, then war, anarchy, or both. lol

If only I had a printing press, I could also aspire to being 'too big' to fail...hehe ...the American dream, really is a dream.

It's nothing more than one big, steaming pile of red-white-and -blue, all-American bs. E Pluribus BS. ;D

I mean, think of how it all started... America was founded by slave owners who informed us, "All men are created equal." All "men' except Indians, "n i g g e r s", and women. Remember, the founders were a small group of unelected, white, male, land-holding slave owners who also, by the way, suggested their class be the only one allowed to vote. To my mind ( or movement of the mind as time) that is what's known as being stunningly- AND embarrassingly- full of BS. And everybody bought it. ALL AMERICANS bought it, and it's still part of the foundation of this country. All of our institutions morphed from the original intentions behind the words.
50% of the country's population believes the Constitution is a dead document, including the majority sitting on the Supreme Court. In other words, it should be adhered to in the spirit with which it was written.
Intention is a powerful tool. Especially when wielded by ignorance.
The blindingly ignorant aspect of this is: 2% of the world's population are caucasians, and they've bought into it.
If mathematics is indeed the language of the Universe, than this partic(le)ular equation is really nothing more than an exercise in incredibly bad math.
The collective is waking up. Talk about an eraser fight.

Yes, agreed... I sense the formation of a 'spine' in the psyche of the American people. It could be a new special interest group in Washington, who's mantra is 'Were not going to take it anymore'... Their platform is to get their jobs, homes and future back from the Corporate America thieves...

ernie, therealfake,
I don't sense any 'spine' in the 'American' people. I just see special interest groups of all kinds each with their own agenda. This is just the beginning of the fracturing of the social contract that has bound us together, this social contract is weakening day by day and will become uttrely useless. See who has the power now. I don't think the 'American' people are interested in real change, but rather 'me'.
