Dreaming is usually the most interesting part of my day, but do you ever feel like you're still in a dream after waking up?

This may sound crazy but there are times when I am waking up but my eyes do not work. I am still in the dream but very lucid and I need to mentally put pressure to break through and see. It's like I am caught in between dreaming and waking. In the dream you have only perception but no eyes as in waking state but when you are caught like this your dream "eyes" and physical eyes do not work.
I find it very interesting

I've also had that experience, Michael and - sometimes- the sleeping dream shifts into the bedroom/waking dream surroundings and things get very confusing! I cannot tell whether I am awake or asleep!

Hi Sherry,
Yes it can be confusing for sure. Another experience that would happen almost every morning when I was doing 2 hrs of meditation every day for years.
I would wake up but my eyes would still be closed but I still could see through my eyelids. It would not be as clear and sharp as my eyes open but I could see a chair or a dresser or a cat and pictures with no problem.

I've only ever had my eyes shut once without it being on purpose, but I think they were just glued shut with wax. That's a freaky thing, waking up and having control of your eyes but not being able to open them.
