Hey jesse, everything you say sounds very familiar to me. One day about two years ago I just went into freefall, realized that nothing was as I always thought it would be, and I was falling in and out of terrible fear for weeks. This faded ever slightly and I got more and more used to the new perspective over these last two years. If it might be any help to you, here is a thread where I posted some of my first experiences: spiritualteachers.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=misc&thread=128&post=1246From this post, just before the free fall, it just goes downhill;) And I can definitely relate to the ideas of mental illness. When you are in that kind of terrible fear, you cant help but being scared of insanity. Here is a thread where we wrote some about that: spiritualteachers.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=misc&thread=403&page=1Could be a good read I think klaus put it well, "you have no say what so ever". Like Eddie said you will experiment with this until you kind of sort it out. For me the experimenting has been to try all angles, until you realise none works, at which point you might surrender a bit.. maybe. Surrender does not come easily for me:)
