im finding you to be the same to me my friend......never shall i anger at another's views or opinions that to me is wrong..... creates negative energy and there is enough of that to go around for ten lifetimes......try to feel the oneness with all things...look beyond your self .......because in reality everything and anything is connected..........if i hurt you....then im hurting myself and all other things as well.........

skeptics go nowhere in life.....know thy self ....listen to your gut its usually rite.....again jst my opinion Professional skeptics (such as The Amazing Randi et al) are in truth not all that skeptical. They seem to know themselves so much they need not investigate.

I can't select one because perhaps both apply equally:
"to grow into a higher evolved being" by "making choices and experience thus choices" .
Although I'm getting increasingly uncertain about the possibility of 'making' a choice.

meaning is in the mind it is all relative I agree that it's all in the mind. I doubt that it's all relative. Relativity or relationality (however you define "relative") is still way too meaningful, too complex a concept to be fundamentally intrinsic to whatever it is that is. Meaning created by one mind is relative to that mind. To another mind this is not necessarily the same. This is the meaning of relative. It depends on the point of view. See #3 below seems way too simple but..... rel·a·tive (rl-tv) adj. 1. Having pertinence or relevance; connected or related. 2. Considered in comparison with something else: the relative quiet of the suburbs. 3. Dependent on or interconnected with something else; not absolute. See Synonyms at dependent. 4. Grammar Referring to or qualifying an antecedent, as the pronoun who in the man who was on TV or that in the dictionary that I use. 5. Music Having the same key signature. Used of major and minor scales and keys: A minor is the relative minor of C major. n. 1. One related by kinship, common origin, or marriage. 2. Something having a relation or connection to something else. 3. Grammar A relative pronoun.

No relativity without mind, agreed. But without mind to play around with "meaning", is the universe relative or absolute? Probably both and neither, lol.

Well, there are two kinds of meaning, relative and absolute. Relative meaning is dualistic and intellectual; absolute meaning is radically direct and unmediated by thought. Zen has a number of koans that deal specifically with this issue, and the answers cannot be obtained through the mind.
An old master once said, "Every day is a good day." What does this mean?
What is the meaning of life?
A bell rings in the valley. What does this mean?
A mouse eats cat food, but the cat bowl is broken. What does this mean?
In all of these examples the meaning is not something that exists in terms of something else. IOW there is no projection of imaginary meaning by the mind. It is far simpler and more existentially direct than that.
If ten people are standing in front of a painting in an art museum and someone asks, "What does that mean?" there will usually be ten different meanings suggested. If ten Zen Masters are asked that question, all of them will give the same answer.

zen, there you go again with the absolutes.
I wonder why the ones who consider themselves enlightened are so absolutely sure about things like this, or everything really.
Are you ever incorrect anymore? or just perfect now in your knowledge LOL
you sound so ridiculous, not the content, but the way you go around dispensing "truth" really dude don't you have room for questioning, wonder anymore? or is everything known to you with certainty?

First let me say what I said in a previous posts it's not wise to use any absolutes when your on this subject. Honestly there is nothing in truth that has absolutes. Sometimes it just has to do the way a person writes using all instead of most etc.
Now for the question about ? The question itself is faulty and cannot be answered fully or completely. It makes a assumption that we are here now where is here located? Then it goes on to to give you only 2 choice one is the power to chose and the other to evolved. There needs to be a 3rd option as none of the above.
