k. sorry, it's just been one of those days where i seemed much more attuned to finding fault with other than with my own failings. i am moving across country in 3 days and i think that the inner pressure is looking for a release valve. so excuse my fault finding mission today. r.

It's really funny, but this thread brings up an interesting point. Why? implies "what's the meaning of life?" and people want to say that there is no meaning, but that, in itself implies a meaninglessness. And meaninglessness implies a meaning of being unfulfilled. So to say there is no meaning implies a meaning, just a negative one.
My experience is that "why" implies a search for meaning. And meaning is felt to the extent that we feel connected to life. So, if the lack of separation with life is recognized, then everything feels deeply meaningful, but it's not one meaning as OPPOSED to another. But that doesn't mean the meaning isn't there or valid....It's just more all encompassing than any one thing...
Oh, and:
HAIRCUTS!!!!

LM: This calls for a poem.
Intellectual's Lament
Everything else has meaning, Except meaning, If you know what I mean.
