Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-33&34/112
This meditation requires a view universal Looking at creation from gross to subtle
Lowest to highest, the triad of tantra Apara, para-para & Para 118 worlds, 36 elements, 5 circles Not for everybody, a practice not so simple
We may also employ imagination As of Bhairavas own suggestion Placing ourselves in the void, the centre 118 worlds above, 118 below ... then God enters!
Or let us tweak this practice holographically Going in within, into our heart, innocently Looking at love hues in prismatic variety Love too having colours in graded subtlety
Joy, empathy, compassion, bliss & purity Which of these pulsates within in continuity ...
As Samadhi

Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-35/112
How deep is our stillness Is it yet still in the void of no-thingness
This practice prescribes That as bliss continues to rise Let it be in the void of emptiness Energised by Gods lovingness
Thought rested we hold our attention Within the void as our meditation

Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-38/112
We take two different objects Our perception cognitively detects First we may allow attention to oscillate Then in single pointedness we meditate
It is simple As also subtle
We go into the gap of shifting attention Which wavers between the two objects in oscillation Freezing the moment of release in between attention cognition Just at the moment of shift but before the new cognitive connection Meaning thereby neither of the objects are in focus The gap stretched thus becomes our unwavering locus
We may choose any variation Such as the gap in thought or breath cessation The pause is when we release one intending to go to the other We complete the release but do not actually move further Thereby getting into the gap Where we hear the sound of one hand clap
The centreless centre Is where Shiva enters

Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-39/112
This practice agrees that God being omnipresent He must reside in each pulse to which we are sentient
Thereby we focus attention on any object We are looking and so we are the subject
In unwavering focus subject & object merge The unified field manifesting an awareness surge
Where we remain

Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-41/112
Observing breath without regulating In nonchalance simply looking ... We mentally pause at the moment of exhalation The zone of breath polarity rotation ... The void of cessation in focus between eyebrows Is where we melt away and the void furrow
With pure intention For divine connection

Here we view a contradiction of emotion The interplay within our being interwoven Tickled in the armpits We burst into laughter in fits Yet the laughter compelling Is disconcerting We should cry but we laugh Is it then a sensory gaffe
The practice asks us to go to the core The very source of our laughter galore It is in the flow of the void of bliss Self self illumined as the elixirous fizz
Laughter meditation Joyful bubbling elation In slow motion cognition

@ D ~ these are my interpretations or let’s say, my understanding of the VBT 112 meditations expounded by Swami Lakshmanjoo. It’s worthwhile reading the book yourself (refer opening post)

Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-44/112
Conventionally in breath based meditation We watch breath and then quieten attention This practice presupposes we abide in stillness slow Our orientation still & silent watching our breath flow
Meditation as thought free stillness a counsel superfluous Enabling cognition of slow motion Krama mudra continuous
We have three kundalinis to keep in our view spherical Pranic, void like awareness & consciousness universal
As the three merge in singularity one with our breathing We simply look on in quietude imbibing bliss enlivening
The bliss movement is slow like an ant slowly creeping Essentially soma nectar through hidden nadis moving The movement is from root to crown In ineffable bliss we choose to drown
Within

Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-45/112
This practice involving copulation seems taboo Whilst all it asks of us to unendingly renew Cessation of action just at the point of fructification Purity of intent choosing instead kundalini ascension
Or if the act ends in orgasmic climax of union Breath should be retained within in celebration
No exhalation
For the puritans the practice asks for cessation Between the urge to act and it’s actual culmination In an aspect meditative Intuitive The pause between cognition and association ... The gap between memory recollection & anticipation ...
Disclaimer:
Such is the practice in the scriptures so written If it does not resonate we needn’t do as bidden Why on this meditation alone dwell When we can choose from one hundred & twelve
And yet if we would know the truth stark We should walk without fear in the dark

Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-46/112
Let us take any act that gives us pleasure Sex, food & drink, theatre, friends or solitude Let us partake of it in boundless measure Recognising Shiva as the enjoyer of plenitude
Lovers caress Sexual climax What is the source of the bliss That pulsates within as it manifests
Likewise with our lover reunion After years of separation The longing ache that arises What is the root of its surprises
This practice asks that we meld our awareness At the very beginning of surge of blissfulness
Vaporising therein

Vijnana Bhairava Tantra Practice-47/112
We extrapolate practice 46 to encompass any pleasure Which we yearn for and attain and wish to capture Be it food or drink or the sunset A tranquil blissful calm we never forget
Imagine that Lord Shiva is the enjoyer Of our earth bound pleasure
Meditate thus ... unendingly
