I don't know who is either. Should I? Not necessarily. He's very influential to some younger people I know. So it's worth my while to know what he's saying, to be able to have some conversations with them. They have their understanding of what he's said and I can occasionally add mine. He's not easy to get into, the pitch of his voice was a little too high for me the first time I watched a video. I left it six months and then came back and found the content very interesting. I respect what Lolly said a few weeks back that there are depths that he doesn't go to. I think that this is another of those conversations. Iain McGilchrist is exceptionally well versed in his field and the first hour that I listened to earlier, showed Jordan rephrasing what Iain was explaining. Whether that's for Jordan's understanding or his audience's, I don't know. But McGilchrist is onto something very important about how brains and specifically the right and left hemispheres use their highly evolved and unique adaptations. His argument is that the left brain has been too dominant for these last few hundred years. This is the hemisphere that picks out detail, and knows precision. Though it doesn't know how that detail fits into the bigger picture.. it's the right brain that has that knowledge. Seemingly, quite naturally. It's the age old discussion between reason and intuition brought into the 21st century. The usual stuff we discuss in here

Brains examining other brains certainly sounds remarkable.

Iain McGilchrist is definitely inside and outside the brain while understanding them.

Peterson was in Charlotte Monday night, May 6, I didn't consider going. He's on his Wrestle with God tour. You might have got something profound out of it. Too late now though..
