From the Beginning
By Krsnaraja Melvin
Inside the womb of our mother, we accumulate information. From infancy to puberty. Everything we learned from kindergarten to high-school is stored in the brain/mind. There is a particular food/drink we like, it`s also stored in the memory cells ( neurons ). Every neuron is interconnected through the synapses ( links ). So, the more you take these particulars, visual data, audio, food/drink always wanted, these synapses are reinforced, built-up. That retrieving the memories, taste of food/drink, desired audio-visual data are easily recovered. That`s why we adore people with superb memories, tastes etc.
In short, it also becomes addicting for people who always chose delicious, fine elegant food/drink , good information, excellent audio-visual data to give some sense of balance, well-being & source of joy.
What if these substances are in the form of alcohol/drugs/gambling/porn/occult information? The synapses built around the neurons/ memory cells fortified from intoxicants for so long deteriorate if such are withdrawn. Panic sets in for the individual who has been using them. Same thing with good food/fine drink. nice audio-visual data experiences, feeling of being able to stay inside a palatial home, possession of expensive clothes, jewelries and fast cars. If these are withdrawn, the synapses of neurons attributed to these myriad information stored in the brain/mind dwindles. The bearer goes into anxiety not being able to enjoy these amenities.
In other words, in the end, what the living entity has desired to taste/touch whether its undesirable/destructive or not becomes addicting. The neurons, synapses built around them in the brain/mind from the beginning when it was yet pristine becomes adulterated.

Things can become addicting IF a person doesn't heed the warnings, allow themselves to mature, and put the brakes on their desires that starts causing them problems.

My father Mario Sr is 88 years old. He retired from practicing medicine in June 2015 after he could not breathe well when he walks a few steps due to pulmonary emphysema. His patients were dismayed because he could no longer treat them being well known as a brilliant clinician, pediatrician, dermatologist and pathologist. In fact, he is my mentor in the school of medicine were I graduated in 1983. My father was the chairman in the dept of pathology and dermatology in the school where I went. My father Mario Sr at present is confined at home not being able to walk outside. He can no longer go to the clinic to heal patients. He possesses a super extraordinary mind. He has not lost his memory. If you go and see him for consultation, he will asap prescribe you the medicines to get you well. With 60 years of practicing medicine, he is really very good at healing. He should still by now up and about so he could cure his diseased patients yet he can not because his body is not in good condition. He should at present earning a lot. say if he has 30 patients per day and his consultation fee is 300 pesos, he would be getting roughly 9000 pesos/day or 216,000 pesos per month. if only his body is well. In other words, Since I get to take his place, I am the one benefited because I am still in good health mentally and physically. Although I am not brilliant as my father, at least, I get to treat his patients and earn money in his behalf. One may have an extraordinary mind but if the body is no longer useful. What`s the use of the mind in earning to survive if one`s body is disabled? Like my father-doctor who can not go to the clinic and see his patients. Might as well drop dead. So, which is more important for living, body or mind? All of these frustrations over the decline in your Father's body and their affects on his job performance...are they your frustrations or his? There is no real seperation between the mind and the body. The mind does not exist as we know it without the body. All of the accumulated memories and expierences that shape the patterns of thought that are the mind are tied to this body....so when the mind changes the body changes and vice versa. Also, we each live a span of life in this mind/body exactly equal to the length of time it takes to be satisfied with and done with this life. Perhaps your Father has evolved as much as he can through patient care, and now another path of his personal evolution is due...this does not diminish his value ;-) and I suspect that in some way he is becoming more, not less than what he was...and this alone is the greatest contribution any of us can make to one another.

The body is like buying a new dress/clothes in the department store at birth. The dress/clothes ( body/mind ) are pristine and uncorrupted. It`s a baby dress/clothes I refer to as infancy. As we grow from infancy to childhood to adulthood, the body/mind reshapes/reforms acquiring pubic hair, hair in the armpits and hair around the mouth. So with the genitalia. they are no longer a baby genitalia. The mind reshapes as it accumulates all kinds of experiences/data/information needed for survival. What I see in my father is that at old age prior to death his mind is not senile or demented. He still has memories intact and can still write them down in paper or if not vocalize them. My frustration is that he can no longer use his body using his medical mind to treat his patients in the community. I felt his mind is such a waste if what is in stored in his mind is not used for the welfare of others by healing the sick. Knowing that my father`s body is an old, worn-out (dress/clothes ) body. This old, worn-out body needs replacement with a new one at death. I guess my father does not believe in the transmigration of the soul ( reincarnation ). That a death our pristine self migrates from one body to a another body at death. The mind at death goes with the pristine self when the ( old ) body dies and receives another body ( new ) at birth. My father at the age 88 if he knows the Science of Reincarnation should be by now chanting the Hare Krsna mantra.

In the wild, an animal that couldn't hunt / feed / protect itself would not last for long in this world . The way of the world for humans is obviously not like that . I think many wish it was . For myself if my mind was sound, I would use it to try and get well or to be at peace regardless of age and condition . I still remember when Jerry Hicks died. And Esther was so mad at him that he would cut out earlier than planned (they planned to make their transition together, when Jerry was about to reach age 144). And Abraham said that everything was actually going exactly as planned, just not as planned from the limited physical ego perspective. From the non-physical inner being perspective, he had successfully achieved his goals and fulfilled his reason for being in this specific body at this specific time in this specific place. He felt complete. He was done. In fact, he would have transitioned much earlier if Esther wouldn't have insisted on leaving together. And so his sickness (cancer) was a convenient way out, his path of least resistance. Seth also points out that in today's society a severe illness often becomes a face saving device for the eldery. This has something to do with those Darwinian thoughts that permeate today's society (aka the one who hangs around the longest wins). And so in Jerry's case, if he would have fully listened to his inner guidance, he would have left years earlier. But he didn't. And so he had to take the terminal illness route instead. This is a huge topic, there are all kinds of why people die. But no matter how and when they die, every death is a suicide as Seth and Abraham say. Some beings only want to test the waters, and so they die in the womb. Some only want to experience childhood and not old age. And do they die very young etc. From the non-physical perspective, it's all about quality, not quantity. Once a certain minimum quality isn't guaranteed anymore, the consciousness will retreat. Survival at all costs is the ego perspective which can create a lot of unnecessary suffering.

Atomic particles decay. Similarly, bodies decay. Atomic particles when they reach their half lives transform into another atomic particle. When bodies die, the soul a decaying atom accepts another body. There`s no end to it. Once people understands the nature of the soul, they will never be afraid to die. Birth is simply acquiring a new set of atoms. And death simply the discarding of the ash ( carbon ). The Decay Chain By Krsnaraja The Neptunium series is an example on how to explain why the 8,400,00 species of life transform or metamorphose into other forms of life ( reincarnation ). As the material body decays, at death, the soul which is a decaying atomic particle accepts another material body at birth when it becomes stable. A decaying atomic soul decays with the material body(aging process). I would not be surprised if someone calls me Plutonium Krsnaraja in future.

Yup, the non-duality theory is what most of you in this forum is trying to understand. This oneness thing. What I am trying to point out is this simultaneous oneness and difference of things ( acintya-abheda-bheda-tattva ). Atomic particle or souls are one yet they are of different properties. Say, the Ms Universe Beauty Pageant candidates are all pretty yet of different nationalities. Which is more important, " A ( construction worker ) or B ( doctor )? " Both are important but A ( construction worker) is different from B ( doctor ).

Some refer to peeps having many so called exist points depending on how life unfolds . on one hand life is as it should be and can appear to be set in stone from one perspective, butt one can brush aside one exit point and entertain another depending on the situation .. If your done, your done, if your not your not .

Like contortionist amount of effort to explain simple death so that it fits a more smiley narrative. IMHO.
