Yes, second way is the way of the monk. It equals Bhakti yoga. Agree with the next to last sentence. "The way of the monk" equals bhakti yoga? Is that what you say here, sdp? Just askin'.... Yes.

Bhakti yoga = being a monk? Nah. Hang-in here... remember the yoga's are many. Isn't pining or branding what that mind does? By taking all-yoga's simultaniously is to flumox the Brains two compartments so that a third is found at the center of gravity.

But Love is the only one that really matters. That's why, as Ramana said, that both jnana and bhakti are the same as they both result in surrender to Self. And surrender is the same as Love. I put that to K at one point but he didn't really buy into it.

And I'm almost sure that K. knows his buisness. You haven't showed much respect for love here, as far as I can tell. Other than that you sub-textual and also obviously demands surrender. *...kotz*...

It's not love I don't respect, it's you I don't respect. I see. And why not? You see now you want an answer. All I did was to respond to your assertion that I don't respect love with a counter reply that you may have reasonably expected. See how that works?

I am a bhakta engaged in karma yoga out of love for the Beloved and for all life forms. I also engage in jnana and raja. It has been my understanding that focusing on any one of the four main forms of yoga inevitably leads to practising the others as well. At least, that has been my experience.

Welcome Julian, I would agree, yoga is to yoke to, so it makes sense. Do you have any living teachers?
