...so...I'll try my very best to come up with what I strongly think is the case. Nor not the case. And let me warn you, I can be a nasty little pit-bull when my opinions, which I consider as well informed assumptions about reality (also known as species-truth), are challanged.
For example, I don't think anybody, who is supporting the currant capitalistic (global) ecconomical system, should be considered as a sane person. Yes! That's my stance. And I'm not a (bloody) communist or some (half-baked) socialist. No-no-no-no! And I don't support any kind of political agenda other than the neccessity to educate about the fact that there never have been a true, real democratic country or nation on earth for more than a few years. (And that is an improvent on my side to say years instead of month's).
I'm also interested in views about how and in which way so called spirituality, politics, ecconomie, soziology and psychology are inter-related. In other words, my question is: How comes that planet earth is in such bad condition, environmentally, ecconomically and spiritually? What are the factors that are responsible for that? And what can be done about it? Of course I have some ideas myself, but I'm interested in the ideas others are having regarding these topics.
I don't think one can seperate so called spirituality from the fields of politics, social-life. environmental issues and ecconomie. We live in a world and that world effects us and we effect the world by what we do, think, feel and intent. We're no islands....although...
There are also a few so called spiritual teachers I have strong opinions about. Some I consider as major morons, some I consider as minor idiots, some are mere mind-controlled slaves who seem to read from an invisible tele-promter, some are genuine, some are rediculous, some are cute but have nothing to say at all about real topics, some are major nasty and evil assholes in disguise. I guess you get the picture.
Being strongly opinionated I don't consider as bad or wrong or "unenlightened". (Guess why.)
Enlightenment: A concept for those who have no better concept.
In case I don't respond to replys to my posts in time, that's because I have the habit to just write every other day. But that, writing every two days, I do for about three years in a row by now. And it's my duty and my pleasure to do so.
And as you can easily see by the way I write, I'm not a native english speaker, therefore I hope you are not gramma-policing me too much. I appollogize in advance for hurting anybodys feelings about how proper expressions in english on certain subjects should be made. I know that seeing someone writing utter crap in a forgain language can be upsetting for some.
But I also forgive all of you in advance for hurting my most cherished feelings about some topics. Although I hardly feel offended by anything that stays in the realm of language. Like the old saying goes, "sticks and stones can brake your bones, but words can never hurt you." A heated debate, for me, is like a dance. I don't mind to be called names. I enjoy a good fight (with words) a lot. But don't call me a nazi just because I'm born and raised in Germany. THAT I consider as...as...well....true. Because: I nazi nazis best!
That was it so far. I don't have much to say here in the introduction section anymore. Give me a statement and I try to prove it right or wrong. By the means and tools I learned over the years. I'm not saying I can not be convinced that I'm wrong in some of my points of view. But some "truth's" I don't argue anymore. And one of them is, once again: The (global) capitalistic ecconomical system is unreasonable, un-substantiated, un-scientific, un-fair and...hold on....NOT healthy for anybody. Not even for those who promote it as being the one and only way.
Now I realy shut up...although...
Kind regards, Hicksetta

How do you feel about starting your own threads/topics? That'd be cool if you would and could. My dad gave me his German-Swiss blood, so we have something in common. See you around - unless we don't.

Well...no...nobody recommended me to this forum. I found it by "coincidence", Laughter. I'M a hermit of some sort. I'm not having friends who can recommend me to go some places.
Seniour-Member, you have "swiss-blood"? What does that mean? I don't know. I always thought that thoughts and ideas come from some other "place" than "blood"-whatsoever.
How do I feel about starting my own threads/topics? That's a good question. I don't know. I seriously don't have an idea about "why". I just write what comes to my mind. Ohhh..."mind"...what an in-accurate term.
Biddhis are not what they used to be nowerdays. Even cigarrets count as cigars for some companieros who like to smoke nowerdays. I, personally, think that only Cuba makes good cigars.
Yah know, in german language the term "hicks" refers to some kind of hick-up. I'm just saying.
Why don't you ask me what kind of modern "spiritual masters" I call major morons? I would love to answer that kind of question. Just for the sake of starting an argument.

I'd love to hear what you think about various modern day teachers - start with the highlights? My mentioning my German-swiss blood is just an aside, Hicks. If you have a preferred shorter nick-name, that would be cool.

Senior-Member, nah...I don't deal in telling who is NOT it and who is or might be IT. That's not my kinda thingy. I just tell you what I think about some "spiritual teacher" if YOU ask ME what I think about him or her in particular. I my world, there are no fake "gurus". There are only those who preach and teach something to those who do not know better. And then...those fellas put up youtube-channels and websites and preach the "gospel". Not my kinda thingy. Live and let live, is what I deal in, as long as truth is not violated as such. Spread as much bullshit as you like on the internet. I don't care. But if one dares to realy put out some utter crap into my face, without admitting that it is just that, some sort of entertainment, I might step in and call those "dudes" (or dudettes) out on their BS. Else I prefer to drink my wine, smoke my biddhis, and let those who like to spread some concepts, I consider as lame and moronic, do what they do. Nobody is harmed by it. As longs as words are just words, nobody is harmed.
"I came to the conclusion that spiritulality is as dis-chardable as dishwater." Some wise dude said that and I totally agree.
If they don't bother to come knocking at my door to arrest me, and I can live in a country that has a proper constituion that is sustained in some way, I'm not having much issues with anything. Unless I don't come across some very nasty and dis-honest statements by some fellas, who deal in the so called deep-web or dark-net, by acting on it, I stay cool, calm and collected. I wonder why anybody even tries to engage in such things like the deep-web or dark-net. But I appreciate those who did it and came back to talk about it. That's something to dig into. But not by doing it yourself. Just by asking those who did it about their experiences.
I'm kind of a talkative type. Don't get me started.

Senior-Member, that is a very good question. Why am I here...then? Well...if I would say I have nothing better to do, that would not count as a valid answer. Right? I see. So "why" bothering me to come up with something I can not properly answer without making up something?
Anyway..."why"-questions are very very difficult to answer, unfortunatly. Therefore...I have to make a guess: I feel the need to do so for no other reason than...than...äh...hold on...well.... Would that qualify as a proper answer? No? I overstand. But that's all I can come up with. In honesty.
WHY is anything like it is?
Get me some answer to that question and I get you some good old italian (bio) vino....virtually only...unfortunately.

I had problems to lock in with my username Hicksetta, therefore I got me a new name.
What I feel inclined to say, after reading the currant discussions, is:
1.) Consciousness: A noun made out of a verb (to be conscious of) to obcure the fact that there is no such thing as (pure) Consciousness. Because a verb is a verb is a verb. One can be conscious of something. But Consciousness does not exist other than in language. There is nothing "Consciousness" can be conscious of or conscious about. To be counscious of something, there need to be something to be consious of. The terms consciousness and nothingness are equal in the sense that they both have nothing they actually refer to. In other words: They are meaningless concepts. They are not even unicorns. They are just language-garbage.
2.) The same is goes for the term awareness.
3.) The term God or god needs to be defined. But not like saying, for example: God is love. Because that is also not true in a logical sense. Because: Love is love. And what ever "God" or "god" may be for someone is something to better be kept private. To wallow in something like talking about any kind of God-concept is just this: utterly subjective. No God-concept can be proven as being a fact.
4.) Facts are what nobody can deny as such. For example: A table is some kind of thing on which other things can be put on. That is a fact. You can also say some stuff can be put under a table. That is also true.
5.) Religious and/or spiritual concepts are by definiton subjective and not objective. There is no such thing as objective truth in anything that is related to religion and/or spirituality. That does not mean that some people lie about what they feel and experience in religious and/or spiritual terms. But what they say about it has absolutely nothing to do with objective truth. It is subjective truth. Nothing wrong with talking about ones subjective truth. But confusing it with objective truth is what gets an argument about it started.
6.) If one tells me one experienced something like "pure awareness" and it was hillarious, I don't doubt that as a valid personal experience. But don't tell me such thing as "pure awareness" is something that exists outside of your subjective personal experience. Don't make it into something that you want to be considered as objective truth.
7.) The so called scientific method deals in something that can be called objectivity. And the scientific method deals in making its claims reproduceable for all who are educated in using the right means and tools to reproduce a certain scientific discovery. If it can not be reproduced under the correct conditions by anybody who uses the right means and tools, the claim that was formerly made, must be doubted as valid objective truth.
8). It is impossible to prove any kind of God-concept objectivly. Unless you claim that everything is God. But then we have to ask the question: What for? Everything ALREADY is everything. Why and what for calling it God then? It does not make any sense. So...to claim that everything is God is as useless as saying: Everything is everything.
9.) The term "I" refers to a perticular body-mind and its actions and thoughts and feelings and intentions. That is all that term is all about. The term "you" refers to the actions and thoughts and feeling and intentions of a body-mind that is not "my" body-mind. Such is the nature of the "I". It's a word in a language. It's very easy to understand if one does not get tangled up in the vast web of concepts that have nothing to do with reality (also know as species-truth). Language, when dealing in abstractions, is leading away from reality. The more abstract something gets, the less (objectivly)true it becomes.
"If you can not explain it to a six year old, you haven'd understood it yourself." (Wolfgang...äh..Albert Einstein)
See you next time around, Kindergarten.

What ever it may be you have to say....to some public audiance...while posting on some forum, called Spiriualteachers.org, would it be tooooo much to ask for to consider a very simple thing? Can it be the case that what you deal in, by being a long-term poster here, you exposed yourself as ...well...not knowing anything about anything but your personal, subjective truth?
And if so...please continue. But why (WHY) don't you write a funny story about....about...something you just made up? Too difficult? Too much effort? Too non-spiritual? Too much to ask for?
I mean, I can also present you my un-washed shitty under-pants as truth. But that's not what I (and I) deal in.
Too embarrassing.
Go to a real forum and try to post your crap there. Just for the sake of proving your points as valid, companieros.
abovetopsecret.com (ATS) is a good place to go to if you are sure you are right. Give it a try.
And don't get me wrong. I don't think that posting on ANY kind of forum is considered as good as good as being a fire-worker, a nurse, a super-market-casher, a good mother or father, a feverish writer in the name of truth, a garbage-men, a tobacco-store clerk....etc.
Kind regards, Upsetter

Farmer, if you still watch tv and read the news-papers every day, other than for the sake of exposing the strategies the official media is using to keep the general public in a state of denial regarding what realy is going on in the world, what ever your statement may be, I can't take it seriously. You are considered a mind-controlled slave if you read the new-papers and watch tv everyday without knowing what for you are doing it. And the only good reason to do is: to expose its lies on places where that can be done.
The "conflict in Syria" is part of the whole middle East conflict and that "conflict" started long long time ago. I'm not an expert in the history of the conflicts (wars) in the middle East, but one thing I do know: They are part of a much bigger conflict (war) that is going on for centuries. I just call it the capitalist agenda to keep those in power who already have all the wealth and the power regarding resources and those are the ones who like to play chess with humans on a global chess-board for the sake of avoiding to be confronted with themselfs as being.....you name it.
