fair enough  but I think if the hyperminders could quiet their noisy minds for even two seconds some things could be seen more clearly  More appropriately.. if people will agree with you, then you'll agree that they have quiet minds.. not so, hyperminder! I give my opinions sometimes, and people can take it or leave it. makes me no nevermind |

Despite the fact that this can also arguably be said about what you're replying to, my " SUGGESTION" (.. ahem ahem ..) would be that your post doesn't belong in this thread, but instead in the one which I've replied to it in. |

From what i have observed, those that accuse others of hyperminding are the ones that engage in this activity the most. For it seems reasonable to theorize that a hyperminder would come up with the term. |

My suggestion, which I just made to Popee, is to eliminate the word "you" and all denigrating terminology from the moderated discussion. It would be interesting to see if peeps could write about their own experiences and discuss various issues without saying anything negative about anyone else. Foodfights and all ad hominem remarks could go to the unmoderated section. It would be interesting to see how that would play out. I imagine Non-dualists\Advaitaist adherents would not be able to consistantly do this as to them, "you" is the ultimate insult, thus the ones that operate by negative re-enforcement will continue to use this term in what i regard as unsuccessful arguments to convince others to give up their individuality. Thus it seems to me that the insults against individuals is part and parcel of the mindset of some adherents. |
