I couldn't make out the horse's hooves/legs in that photo at first - I thought it was some gal's hi-fashion fluffy boots or something, hah.
The last one of yours is wonderful with its stark whiteness of the building and planter with the beauty of the mostly dead vegetation. You do have a good eye.

fyi: marigolds are very hardy, but even they won't survive a hard freeze If I ever have a garden...  ...I wonder why these were put on the road like that, outside of all gardens.. maybe it had something to do with the last southwester. |
