congrat's 'pilgrim. .. rooting for the Big East teams left after the Orange exit is going to be a habit hard to break. I used to be a big college basketball fan, now I don't watch much except the NCAA tournament. My favorite player ever for Carolina was Charlie Scott, he was absolutely amazing, 1967-70. (At UNC he was like a Michael Jordan before the Michael Jordan of the NBA. Michael Jordan in college wasn't yet Michael Jordan, if I recall correctly, he wasn't even the #1 pick). He was the first black player in any sport for UNC to have a scholarship. I didn't know it until just checking him out, but in 2015 he was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame. He took UNC to two Final Fours, won an NBA championship in 1976 with the Boston Celtics. www.goheels.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=3350&ATCLID=209519613I think Dean Smith's only failing was he taught his players to play with emotions in reign (but I'm actually not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing). I think this team, presently, may be the best team ever for UNC (however the 1983-84 Michael Jordan, Sam Perkins team lost only three games by a total of 7 points, lost in the sweet 16) they have great depth and can play different styles. I think they can adjust to anything Villanova brings. UNC 92 - Villanova 87

Yea, just tear my heart out. Carolina was behind by ten with 5:29 left in the game, 67-57. They came back to tie the game up with an amazing 3-pointer by Paige with 4.5 seconds left. But D-ai-ka-no took the ball down court, passed to Jenkins and essentially help clear out the defense as he passed. The ball left Jenkins hands with .5 second left, he hit a 3-pointer, game over. Just tear my hear out. Villanova played a better game. Congratulations. Just tear my heart out.........

I didn't expect Carolina to go so cold shooting for so long, and so few points off the fast break. (Now I get to pull for Golden State again, in the playoffs. Dell Curry played for the Charlotte Hornets, so son Stephen is from Charlotte . He is a beauty to watch). But of course Hockey is the greatest game in the world, and the Stanley Cup the hardest trophy to win. (You have to win 16 playoff games).

Your speed couldn't compensate for all that size and power inside. Jimmy B. had that all figured out years ago going against the giants that Thompson used to stack the floor with. It's funny because Jimmy will talk in terms of the old traditional positions -- the way he did about Bginje in his pc before the last game for example -- but his vision of a team and the components of it is obviously very non-traditional and based on crafting the squad around the strengths and weakness of the individuals which comprise it. To that end, specialization is at cross purposes, so his line-up always tend to cluster around 6'7"-6'9".

::cough:: would you put ::cough:: that dusty old thing away please? (I can't ever remember it taking 4 attempts to post something here.... kept disappearing as I moved the cursor to click submit) When you're doing it right the first round really counts.

"IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT!" Hey, it's a power-5 football coach who understands nonvolition. I don't know man.. maybe but even with all the talk of heart and kumbaya.. I think his focus on their fault and our house is an impediment to realization.. so at least one more step is needed besides.. it's a total mock job
