This seems to be to be a subject worth the attention of any spiritual person.
I've gave it a lot of my attention to the proper use and management of wealth for the spiritual human form. I don't think the non-form really cares to much.
Not that enlightened forms are greedy but I have noticed and contemplated the mindset of greedy people considerably.
Say one has a modest $5,000,000 laying around gathering moths and dust. How would a spiritual person go about using this money in a loving way for all humankind?
It seems a lot of enlightened folks after getting enlightened start writing books, or giving lectures that do not allow all to participate because they don't have the money for one reason or another. Then you have dentist and doctors who do the same, and on down.
If ever one shared the good fortunes God has bless them with it seems the world would become much more paradiscal and we human forms would have more time to become enlightened and maybe even overcome death and all diseases, cure all retardation.
But since greed appears epidemic to humankind, and in my experience it goes all the way to the top including even the enlightened, (maybe except for the very few avatars) so the enlightened among us would have to set the examples and radiate the new sharing consciousness for humankind.
If one looks it's easy to see how the greedy mindset works to destroy love. The greedy person always thinks about the profit/loss and not if it is the loving thing to do. They also are always concerned if someone is trying to cheat them or con them out of their cash.
Are there ways to share completely and keep wealth?

Give me your $5,000,000 an I will share with you, by giving you direct access to it. Together we can drive wells into waterless countries an save the occupants mileage to far away rivers. Spiritually, you always share completely whilst becoming refilled, if you're doing it right.

Spiritually, you always share completely whilst becoming refilled, if you're doing it right. Don't have $5,000,000. Say a person does thou, and for example see a homeless lady using a walker, she is an alcoholic. How easy it would be to get her a home? Would it cost the rich guy anything whatsoever? He buys a little house tells her she can live there forever, even if she goes to jail when she gets out it will still be waiting for her. What has he done? Turned liquid asset into a solid and his net wroth has remained the same. The house would most like appreciate in value. What would happening to her physiology? Would she feel more secure, more loved. Would she then see that in this world that she thought was so loveless, isn't the way she thought? How would you qualify her, she is human. Look it this one enlightened man and all these rich people bought him Rose Royce, like 41 of them. I wonder what the rich person was thinking who thought getting him another rose Royce after he already has 35? It would have been very nice to watch him sell all the Rose Royces and save some needy children who needed operations, or homeless people who need someone to show them lovingness. That would have been very sweet.

How did she become a homeless alcoholic? Will giving her a free house change the decisions she makes in her life? Given she doesn't care for her own body (alcoholism), why would she take better care of property?

I lent an alcoholic $100 here and there, all I hear are promises to get paid back and still comes to my door asking if he can do something for $3 - $4 for booze money. No offer to work it off, even. When I remind him, I don't see him for a while. Addiction is a vicious cycle. He even told me early on a few times that I shouldn't be so generous. I've finally learned what that's all about.

Buddha claimed that he wants all being to become enlightened. Seung Sahn, Bobby's favourite Guru, also wants all beings to be enlightened. How do they expect do accomplish that goal? By doing lots and lots of satsangs? Very unlikely. At some point, if they really mean it, they have to become a political force, they have to get their hands dirty, and the only way to do it is by organising their resources and efforts toward a common goal.

Owners usually take care of their place a lot better than renters. It's really about tack, "will you promise to take care of the place?" But really it doesn't metter much. How she became homeless is irrelevant because there are about as many ways people have become homeless as you can imagine. Homeless people I've talked to all seem to be very much like little children. If one imagines homeless people as 10 year olds they will probably be pretty close. They appear to have all the emotions and outburst of 10 year olds. It just an idea that seems would work in a lot of cases if one suspended judgments as even millionaires are alcoholics too.

You only gave a minimal. Everyone gives "minimal". What is a homeless alcoholic going to do with a 100 bucks? As far as homeless people go they basically need homes that's why they call them homeless. There are lots of solutions actually. It's mostly about raising consciousness of humankind. If it was your child what would be the most loving thing? Look at the prisons, thy basically "own" those people for a period of time, and then they let them listen to gangsters rap music. Why is that? These people are in need of serious love. Why let them watch just anything on TV? Why not fill their world with powerful stuff from Nightingale? Brain sync music, How to Win Friends and Influence People, great spiritual teachings, etc. No, they are mostly just warehoused. See violence everyday. Punished from when they were born to "bad" parents, abused, then cops slam them down, turned out into the streets without anywhere to go, and preachers telling them they are bad people that's why they are in the shape they are. From birth until death they never know of anyone who actually loved them. But isn't their consciousness still affecting us all even if they are locked in prisons?

From birth until death they never know of anyone who actually loved them. I gave him what he asked for: anywhere from $2.00 to $4.00 at a time, because he loses everything and he knows it - as I came to know him....he's lucky he has a home because another overly generous soul has given him one for a long time. He has access to dental/medical but he won't even work enough to be able to pay the copay - no front teeth, other matters that could easily be taken care of, but the booze is all he cares about. I agree the law and prisons setup is a horrid dark ages kind of thing human society in the dominant cultures can't and won't shake. Kids - we all do what we want and what our individual tendencies are. You can lead a horse to water... You seem to be under the mistaken idea that given a nice life with nice surroundings and 'proper' care and feeding, we'll all turn out nice and good. As Hilary once said, it takes a village. If the village ain't in sync, then well...

Would you have a 10 year old living in a house by themselves and expect them to care for the property properly? Why and how a person becomes homeless absolutely does matter. If it was a product of circumstance, like becoming temporarily significantly ill, then when the person is well you can expect them to return to their prior functionality and/or sanity. Mental Illness is significantly higher in the homeless. Its not just a matter of giving them free food and a home. There is rehabilitation to take into consideration and help them become as self-sustaining and healthy as possible. All of that requires a very large support system.

I don't know that wanting all beings to be enlightened implies it's seen as a goal that can be accomplished. Nobody has a method for enlightenment, but that doesn't mean the likes of Buddha should throw up their hands and not teach. I also don't know what becoming a political force has to do with enlightenment. It's not a social/political problem.
