Sonds good. Does that mean I'm breaking through the hypnosis of social conditioning?
No, it means that you are mired in your own conditioning of past experiences that distort your view of whats in front of you right now, in this moment.
It seems to me one would want to get the conditioning correct before enlightenment because after enlightenment the conditioning remains. One just isn't "attached" ito it.
If God is everything, then how come that you don't know his qualities?
"By their fruit you will know them" ~ Jesus
First they wouldn't be greedy because they would only be being greedy to themselves if we are all one.
So that eliminate Ehart Telle. Sorry ...not really.
Most likely one can safely say that people like Charles Manson isn't expressing God qualities.
I sometimes look at opposites. Like for example, like giving the crippled a wheel chair or a homeless person some need. If instead of giving them something a person takes something away. One could give resources or take them away.
Greedy people, ones with intentions to harm, people who hurt children these types of people have bad fruits.
"For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time." ~ Jesus
Sorry, it seemed to me that you meant seriously all that stuff about god's qualities. Now it seems to me that you don't believe in god?
“Through Russia, comes the hope of the world. Not in respect to what is sometimes termed Communism or Bolshevism — no! But freedom — freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man. The principle has been born there. It will take years for it to be crystallized; yet out of Russia comes again the hope of the world.”

God ...don't know what that is.
Nothing matters or maybe everything matters. Nothing seems fair with God. No divine justice. Hard to believe anymore with enlightened people getting foot massages with 100 -200 million in the bank and others with nothing, no family, home, money and not allowed the resources that could potentially help them.
But all is prefect. They just have to wait for them to die.
It will be nice to see a higher quality enlightened people in the future.

Freejoy, your ideas about enlightenment, and enlightened people, are kinda a prison that you are creating for yourself, as are your ideas about God and Godlyness ;-)
If God is everywhere and in everything, what ISN'T Godly?
Seems to me that you are more focussed on a set of moral values that you hold dear, which is cool, but wouldn't it be a more effective use of your time left on this earth to perfect your own moral virtues than to be so focussed on other people's moral virtues?
For example, seems like you are very focussed on other people's greed and glutony, when you've got at least three huge splinters in your own eye, namely:
Wrath, Sloth, and Vanity/Pride and possibly Envy
Maybe you should get the splinter out of your own eye before you spend so much energy on other people's splinters?

It's true that God is not fair, because if he were fair then you would have never received a spiritual experience. Not only don't you deserve it, but you also throw it away. You have no business complaining about life not being fair.

I mean for walking on water type things.
The state of the conditioning doesn't matter. The conditioning is always changing.

I really don't know much about Enlightenment.
You hear lots of reports about it but it seems fleeting. It doesn't last most of the time.
It's so close to atheism.
Sometimes I'm all these things you say but they are not my predominate way of being.

No, its nothing like atheism as atheism is practiced.

Some of the things the ego creates and does would likely not be Godly. But it would still be prefect.
Don't you think getting enlightened in old age not worth much because the way they talk it takes 10-20 years to understand.
I would think understanding would be part of enlightenment.
Another thing is after an enlightened person dies they defuse into nothingness/allness. We all might as the body defuses after death so it would seem the soul or spirit defuses also.
Basically we are up the shit creek without the paddle.
I figure God had to make it this way. The universe just spits out whatever, ugly perfections, retarded perfections, beautiful perfections, I guess something is better than nothing. God has to create many ugly, retarded, stupid, cruel, inhuman perfections before the beautiful perfection gets spit out.
The smart perfections like to use the stupid perfections to make money with. We are just looking at the truth of the matter.
But of course no one has free will because no one is really here.
Just a big joke or joker as God has the deck stacked and there are many losers that God dumps just for the one perfection.

Well, seems like you may be starting to "get" the utterly pointless perfection of existance, which isn't such a bad thing.
Seems like there is a lot of evidence for LOA, including the Buddha's enlightenment. But it could also be true that everything is as it is and there is no affecting it all.
Frankly, I dunno and have stopped fretting over understanding it and figuring it out.
All I can do in life is expand or open my awareness to a bigger unlimited me, other than that I just have to plug along without worry over how things should be our how others should act, all that stuff is above my paygrade so to speak....I can pretend to do the best job I can at working hard in life and being honest fair and compassionate in all my dealings, but I can't know if I have any impact at all in my success or failure at that.
So I just do what makes me feel the best when I lay my head down at night and review my day. I find that if I worked hard with reverence for my work, if I remembered God and gave thanks, and if I spent much of my day in a kind being seated in awareness of my self instead of absorbed in the little movements and ups and downs of this personal mind, then I go to bed with contentment.
Thats probably about the best we can ask of ourselves.
Woulda Shoulda Coulda and "What If" isn't a game worth playing with yourself, others, or God.
Just do what you can to be the most alert, most AWARE, most effective, and most compassionate entity that YOU can be IN THIS MOMENT AND EVERY MOMENT....this rest is just pissing into the wind my friend.

I like what you say here. Thanks
But I have so much resistance to the kind of God I outlined here. Sometimes it make sense thou.
What would be so wonderful in any kind of enlightenment like this? Where would freedom be?

A lot of what you are saying and thinking is delusional....and there is nothing that I or any guru can say or teach you that will clear the delusion....the only cure for delusion is Awareness, the more you expand and bring alertness to your Awareness the more delusion falls away, its as simple as that.
