I've never heard of that term 'nonces' before. Men that can only form sexual relationships with children, i.e. under the age of 16. Is how we know it in this country. Yes the child brides of India is child abuse, and it's at times like this that I feel honoured to have the English conditioning that I do. This land will protect the child of all nations in it's care, to the best of it's ability. The organisation that my friend worked for was called Gracewell. Esther Rantzen, was it's patron. She was also the driving force behind a project called Childline. This is a still going, after over 20 years, telephone hotline service, that is funded to stay open 24 hours a day, for all children in an abusive environment to call. To speak to someone, a friend, a listener, a point of help. Gracewell, was closed after 5 years because of it's inner city location, and the public pressure that wanted it re-sited away from an urban environment. The research continues into the minds of men, that have an unstoppable movement to sexualise chilrden. It can stop, though education is the only, way, it will stop.

Thanks for sharing the information. I'm wondering if Gracewell was strictly a hotline and if so, why would they need to relocate?

Esther Rantzen, (it broke my heart when she really saw what our *spit* celebrity Jimmy Saville had done.) is the patron of both these realms of the child abuse issue in this country. A link, a port of understanding, a true lifeline, is - Childline, and then there's the research element, - Gracewell, why men do what they do, and the deep rooted, dynamics involved, in only being able to form, sexual relationships with children.

Find a trained professional, seriously, if this is what did happen to you. Thanks for that gracious and kind advice, Sharon. Do you feel whole within yourself? Or is the degree to which you make yourself into an advocate for victims reflective of an attempt to.process your own trauma?

Thanks for that gracious and kind advice, Sharon. Do you feel whole within yourself? Or is the degree to which you make yourself into an advocate for victims reflective of an attempt to.process your own trauma? I don't know that I'm 'qualified' to adjudge myself 'whole' - I don't even know what that means, to be honest, and I take it in a light-hearted and loving way. It has to be very close to what is reflective of myself, but I'm fairly versatile, and as I've learned to not avoid the thoughts and feelings that happen along the way, I suppose that is what makes me feel 'whole' -- so many different peeps with so many different amazing stories of their own. It's such a complicated part of humanity it naturally defies common sense, for lack of a better way to put it.

there is NO age limit. It even happens to Babies. Deep memory in the subconscious is a creative force that shapes our later experiences. I spent a lot of time with a man that worked with nonces, pedophiles. You can't know how sh!t scared the catholic priests were that had abused children. Afraid to die. That's why all that absolution nonsense works so well. Until the final virus hits them.. Hell or Purgatory. They know that Heaven is well out of touch this time round. Myself and plenty of others would say that the fear you see is only because he/they got caught. They've always been able to rely on the relationships they have had with their higher-ups, who (gotta be totally and utterly unsurprising) were far more concerned about the image of the church than with any harm was done to their young victims.

To Whom It May Concern: I'm sorry for bringing up a subject that almost no one wants to talk about. I'm surprised I got this far, and it won't happen again. I don't feel horrible about it, only because of the discomfort. There are just so many aspects to the basic subject and I just think it's a cryin' shame that it should be this difficult of a subject to broach, but there it is. Like I said, I don't want to talk about it anymore, and I didn't know exactly where I was going with it all (and this is all the further I care to take it), and it doesn't prove a thing, but it's over, now. S Silver, there was no discomfort on anyone's part except possibly yours. What you experienced is a lack of interest in the topic and more of an interest in why this topic is significant for you.
