You know for the last month or so a good part of this forum has been in this RT thread . Today I was reading one of my Sailor Bob's books. I met this guy years ago down under. What I so enjoyed about the man is how very simple he is. He is very much like Nis in many ways, a bit hard to listen to if your not face to face as he has a strong down under ascent. Anyhow this one page caught my eye. Let me just say this what the RT gang tries to do he and his group could do in just a matter of mins and I will quote with a image here. You see this no self is a nice starting place for all of us but it certainly is not worth spending the time as some may suggest to see it. It's simply seen. Michael

I've also found that it is simply seen, Michael. Perhaps it is the simplicity that makes it so elusive: hiding in plain sight. John Wheeler has been very helpful to me in this regard with his clear and direct pointers and disregard of time/process. Bob Adamson was very helpful to John Wheeler in a similar way.

Hi Sherry yes it is simply seen when there are no walls nor veils left.
However this is not a intellectual thing like another poster I will not mention makes it's to be.
It takes no dueling, nor typing like crazy to be seen. When you sit with any teacher that has seen there is no "self" it takes a blink of a eye. You are correct what seems to make this seeing hard for many is it's there all the time to see. It's much like having something on a wall in your house and you can go months if not years not knowing it's on the wall.
I enjoy John Wheeler.
Michael

Hi stepvhen. I strongly object to your tactics here. Attempting to cherry pick someone's words, in an effort to prove your point, is childish. Words, by their very nature are ambiguous, and writing skills vary from person to person. You can not see into Michael's heart by observing his sentences, nor should you even try.
Thanks for posting this michael, I like what Sailor Bob is saying here, I'm gonna look into him further.

I strongly object to the fact that you are only ever online when michael is and your account was made on the 8th. Furthermore, you speak in the same way Michael does and as such....... You are another one of his Karma spamming accounts... Also you seem to only comment in threads where Michael comments and in each one either you will reference him or he will reference you as though we wouldn't recognize clark kent without his glasses. Please refrain from being such a lowlife scumbag. Your friend, the man who has highlighted your lies cowardice weakness and general stupidity at every turn StepVheN.

Too funny stevie. I can absolutely assure you that Michael and I are two different people, although I imagine the Real I behind all three of us is the same entity.
Best of luck in your search for Truth, but I think currently you are wandering down a false path.

Hi michael, or is it Randy, it's me, or rather you. lol It's funny, my whole life everyone has called me Daniel, but now I don't know who I am - my entire identity has been shattered lol What a miraculous breakthrough!. lol
Anyhoo, I was reading Salior Bob's review on Spiritualteachers.org, and I found this bit quite interesting.
We think the mind is doing everything. It's not. What you are is the no thing -- the nothingness. It's no thing because it can't be grasped with the mind. You can never grasp it with the mind because the mind is contained within It. You have to see it right now. Instead of simply saying, "There's no me," have a look. Investigate, in the Now. Look and see if you can find a self center or a "me."
I feel this way too. That we can't understand the whole system because we reside in a sub-system of the whole system. Imagine if a bacteria within our digestive system possessed consciousness. It would only know the world in which it resides in, and would be oblivious to everything else outside its small world. It may imagine what lies beyond its walls, but it would be just that, imagination.

Hi Popee either works my name is actually Randolph Michael been using Michael maybe I will changed it to scutipuff.
Well words are so limiting. I gave up on words as far as tools to help. I much more prefer a sense or a feeling. We can all point but no-one can give(get it).
If anything can be given to me then the me is not who I really am it's a false, lesser me. Again as Karl Renz would say you can be given the whole world, become a avatar whatever and still be a lonely bastard because you still miss who you are.

It's very interesting watching you and popee chatting ~ though this still needs stripping down some more. ... Firstly the title: "The idea of no self" ~ Is it really an idea? You are either comfortable in your absence and it brings the relief that many feel or ... well ... ... "When you sit with any teacher that has seen there is no "self" it takes a blink of a eye." There is no need to be with a teacher ~ you can be in a crowded street, alone on a seat in a park, wave watching on a beach ~ and self will naturally make room for no-self ... "although I imagine the Real I behind all three of us is the same entity." I imagine? ? Brace : For : Impact ... The respect for writing styles is implicit ::: Though take a deep breath for the desire for precision in all brothers.

Ok just made this clip from my satsang video. Be prepared it's only around 7 mins and Karl throws in more pointers than your/my mind can handle the first time through. However imo these 7 mins are la creme de la creme.
Enjoy Michael
