What do you think the meaning of life is?
If you believe in God why do you think he put us here?
Im asking you.

Life is it's own answer. It asks nothing that is not contained wholly within itself. It need not humble man to greatness or shame him to insignificance. Life seeks the fullness of it's own expression, and so it is the meaning that you give it. It IS God Godding. I'm telling you! (hehe)

Meaning is a child of life, not the other way around.

What do you think the meaning of life is? If you believe in God why do you think he put us here? Im asking you. The meaning of life is typing this response to your question. There are two kinds of meaning--intellectual and direct. Intellectual meaning is whatever the human mind projects upon reality, and is thus imaginary. Direct meaning is immediate and unmediated by thought. What is the meaning of my saying "good morning" to someone? "Good morning." What is the meaning of a rose? It is its own meaning. It is what it is; see it, smell it, feel it. What is the meaning of Christ's appearance in the world? The tree outside my office grows precisely where it does and nowhere else. An old joke: A professor of psychology was walking across his college campus to his office when a student said "good morning" to him. The professor continued walking, but started thinking to himself, "I wonder what he meant by that?" This is thinking run amok. I wonder what Cabin meant by asking about meaning? A poem: Everything else has meaning, except meaning, if you know what I mean. LOL God put us here so that you could ask questions and we could answer them.

I don't think there is a meaning or a purpose as we understand those words; just a continuous play. I find this to be wonderfully freeing!
