I have come to realize this forum is more than it appears to be.
We post our personal spiritual experiences, ask questions, answer questions, share our experiences or opinions of teachers we've encountered or whatever happens to be on our minds at the moment.
But what I've realized since participating on this forum is that this forum, itself, engenders spiritual experience through what has been written by everyone participating on it. It may be a paragraph, sentence or just a word that brings an "Ah Ha" moment which changes your perspective on some spiritual aspect of your life or you may have read something on this forum that had no particular significance at the time you read it relegating it to your subconscious only to have what you read arise into consciousness days, weeks or months later giving you insight and a deeper understanding of previous spiritual experiences.
Just one example of this for me has been lightmystic's emphasis on "resistance" which I relegated to my subconscious as having no significance for me. However, as time passed and this idea of resistance rattled around in my subconscious it made itself felt to such a degree that I started seeing places within me where there was resistance and I was able to work through the resistance which enabled me to have a deeper experience of THAT.
So when you read this forum be aware that it's more than it appears to be.

Yes, this board is one serious brewing pot, and it does its work well beyond the surface banalities of the yak-idi-yak.
As for LM's working on resistances approach I too have been finding it full on helpful. Kind of "why didn't I get this at all before?". The way we resist the natural flow of things is pretty much the way we define ourselves, they are the bricks and mortar, the very fabric of our petty personality. And by discovering them and letting them undo themselves, ego becomes a chunk of ice in full sunshine. I don't know why I'm saying again what LM has explained so many times, but hey... (shrug)

Klaus: Your observation is 100% correct. Almost everyone on this board is serious about finding and internalizing the truth, and the interactions that occur here are capable of driving everyone to deeper levels of understanding. When I first read "Collision with the Infinite," by Suzanne Segal, it had such a powerful effect upon me that I decided to re-read it. The second time I read it the effect was even more powerful than the first time. I therefore went back to page one and started reading it for a third time. Every time I read the book it was like a new book that took me to a new place. I had to read it seven times in a row over a period of about twenty days before the main message in the book could become fully internalized. It ultimately shifted my understanding of a particular issue from an intellectual level to an embodied level, and this website has the same sort of capability. Sometimes we have to read something several times, or look at something from different perspectives, or hear something said in a new way in order for it to fully penetrate. Everyone who posts here contributes to the understanding of the entire community, and I suspect that the seriousness of intent that is expressed here is the reason I find it the most interesting non-duality site on the web.

Its the only sight I came across that moved me to join for what it is worth. I check it a couple times a day and I know it helps. Its like jumping between two worlds for me.

It's very true that the vast vast majority of members on this site have been about focusing on their direct experience, practically opening themselves more and more, and sharing more and more. And when there is attention gentle placed on our direct experienced, no matter how integrated or not integrated we feel ourselves to be, something much bigger is created that contains us all, and enlivens each of our experiences of Being. And, as long as that focus is just honestly and innocently on feeling into ones Being, each person brings out a flavor of it, a way of expressing it, that is totally unique and fresh. Everyone has their infinity to offer everyone else, and that is much appreciated.
I don't know how I ended up so lucky to be in a forum with all of you guys, who place direct experience and enlivening of our being before spiritual concepts, who place knowing/finding more of the reality of their amazingness before all else. But I have yet to find another forum like this, and you can be sure that there is not a single moment that what is created here is taken for granted....indeed....each of our own experience sharing and attentions transmits across our posts and enlivens each other's Being more and more. It compounds on itself....
So, although words are so inadequate for me to be able to express my infinite appreciation of everyone on this forum, all I will say for the moment is "thank you all!"
