Just want to know how many of you are headed to the "Soundstorm" rave in Riyadh? The world has turned completely, and I didn't even know it.

Just want to know how many of you are headed to the "Soundstorm" rave in Riyadh? The world has turned completely, and I didn't even know it. The rave scene in the UK in the very late 80s and early 90s is credited with bringing an end to the very real problem of football (soccer) hooliganism. The fighting factions would meet at the raves, and simply could not be enemies anymore. This period is also credited with bringing much increased harmony in race relations. These days I don't go to raves, though I still often mix music in the quiet late hours when the country is sleeping. Brings stillness to the mind, and joy to the heart. |
