What is it you want, Mick? That I wanna know. Maybe someone can get it for yah, if it's reasonable. That's what I deal in. Not more and not less. Thanks Hicks. What I really want is to have a mind and body and not be pulled around by the fluctuations of them. For the body to feel anxiety or the mind to have troubling thoughts; but not be dictated by that phenomenon. Maybe not change it, but to still feel peace in the midst of all that. To not fight with what "is," but coexist peacefully with even the most horrendous mind/body phenomenon. Thanks again. Really appreciate it.

Then, Mick, I think you got it. There is no death. That's something to be refuted, if you can. And if you can not, feel lucky by the mere fact of being alive right now. "It's just a ride." That's all I have to say.

Mick all the great teachers have questioned the same as you have. That's where we all begin so you're on the right path. If you're sincere enough you will come upon it. And be helped along the way. It may look naive to people who read what you're asking but experiencing and reading about it are two very different concerns.
The state you are looking for is very ordinary when you come upon it. Getting to it may be a simple breeze or hell on earth. And the after effects may be a breeze or hell on earth too.
You may not need a teacher. You may after when you can't language what you come upon. You may come to a wrong teacher and that may lead to a right teacher. What's needed for your own unique enquiry will be met either way for your own experience and maturing. It's okay to f up too along the way. Take UG krishnamurti denies any teacher but was an ardent seeker himself went to a few teachers and read about many others. Otherwise how could he critic them. Why the pretence why not say I needed help it came in this form and I let go and matured out of that experience when it no longer served me. Just don't stop off or be put off if it's what you want or need. It's okay to want this. It's okay to want. That's the movement to non movement.

See mick 'critique' it's ok to f up. All awakened ones have that side especially if they're typing in to a small box on a phone in the early morning hours ?. I'm normally on here speaking to a good friend of mine Ian Wolstenholme, look him up. Or Donna Maria but she's unknown but very helpful. Ian went through what I did many years back, went to see Osho about it in his time was in the same group as Tony parsons spent many years with Barry Long. Has many friends in many circles known teachers and Unknown ones too. Either way it's okay to want just like we all have in order to come to This. How you express it after is a matter of how switched on your light are. If that makes sense but in time it will. Bach
