This fellow is an atheist who nonetheless 'woke up' re: nondual awareness. His book Waking Up goes through that story. He has a fascinating podcast too. Stalwart believer in reason, he interviews Joseph Goldstein (bigtime US vipassana/insight meditation teacher) a couple times: 1. The Path and the Goal2. and a follow up Questions Along the PathBoth conversations are excellent. I just listened to the latter and they touch on many perrenial favorites that crop up here -- no-self, emptiness, efortlessness, morality. Good stuff!

His book on Free Will is very comprehensive, unbreakable for an intellectual thesis, and "Waking Up" a great atheist's begginer's guide.

Sam Harris? Just another agent of deception. A very elaborate one, indeed. Smart, cool, calm and collected, but nevertheless, if you watch him closely, you will see: No emotions (whatsoever) involved in his presentation of his arguments. Guess why. Is there an "after-life"? Of course not for Sam Harris. For Christopher there is. THAT is the difference, companieros. And not that I think Christopher was right about everything he talked about. Definitely not. But... he had HEART. And Sam Harris just not have heart. He's a mashine, mind-controlled to be an agent of deception. And he does a good job in bringing it around, no doubt about it.
