yes, the minefield of the mind. crafty little bugger.
interestingly, it appears that it all keeps adding to the drama of "no-self".

Michael If the 'Ruthless Truth Arena" works it works. There are many ways to get there, although your are there already as they say. The truth has its own verification by it's very nature, when you come across it directly you know it because it is true. If you don’t have the faculty to see truth you won’t see anything. Give it an honest try for ‘your- self’ then you can post with authority.

Ruthless Truth isn't pretty, because if we look at the spiritual teachers working today, they are more interested with pretty picturess and useless platitudes than actual life changing liberation.
The problem is, sugar coated dreams sell by the bucket load. The truth does not.
So we don't sell you the dreams and pleasantries.
This is open source liberation. It's not pretty but it works.
And once you're liberated, you can go indulge in the sugary dream like stuff and ACTUALLY feel it, rather than pay some guru to just hear it described with no real change taking place.

Where do you get idea this is end-all, the final word? I assume you are from Ruthless Truth. You don't exist. So what? Let me ask you this, have you already confirmed that this world, that you claim needs freeing, exists? Let me put things into perspective for you... Putting a gun to your head and pulling the trigger would be like a walk in the park compared to what true awakening really is. Now, assuming that you get that far, and assuming that this world exists, how many people in this world do you think want to experience that? I was too quick to judge earlier. Now that I see the scope of what you guys are doing, I realize that NONE of you are actually interested in truth. If you want to awaken, truth at all cost should be your motto. And I assure you, the cost of truth is everything. Anyone who tells you otherwise has no idea what they are talking about or are lying through their teeth. Do you still want to play games with that group of yours? Or do you want the truth? I hope that you feel really silly right now, you need to hear this. Your a walking Jed McKenna advert with nothing to offer. Are you Liberated? Do you know what state any of us are in? No to both of those questions. Stop talking about truth and hiding behind quotations and beliefs. You have turned the work of someone out to destroy belief into your belief your motto. Sad

Frankshank you need to look a little deeper than this. No matter what anyone thinks I assure you it is dangerous to anyone to have them awake to the fact there is no-self without prior meditation, spiritual interest, humble spirit. In other words lets say I came up with a mechanical system that will assure you when your done with this system you will see you do not exist. Think about this for a moment. Do you see any problem with this and don't use the copout it's all illusion anyway. If a man comes through the door and shoots your child in the head and he kills himself I will tell you the last thing you will think of will never be it's a illusion. Make no mistake this world is real. This world only becomes unreal when you give up your life. That is the only way out. This is what is meant to die while living So given this these newbies get this no-self right away. They call this freedom right freedom to do anything in this world and not be accountable. This is not freedom it's anarchy at the highest level and it will not end up well. So this is the reason I do not support groups like this unless they teach personal integrity, help your neighbor, do no harm, with freedom comes more responsibility and more. Teach this first and then use your system not the other way around for it's foolish and very irresponsible like giving a person a loaded gun without any directions on how to use it and when to use it. This is my basic reason I against groups as RT. I am not concerned about the truth as I and others have shown them what the truth requires. But I am concerned about the harm they can do. In short it's called brain washing. A good hypnotist can do the same in 1 session. The other concern is it will be very hard for anyone once they have finished your system and get this "freedom" to do any kind of real spiritual work Sorry I tend to be more bold and frank than Iris however it matters not just that you listen and understand. Most members on this site are very sincere about knowing the truth and what it takes. When I hear stuff like there is no such thing as a sincere person seeker until you are enlighten then you could called yourself since from people in RT it just makes me pissed. Michael There seems to be a lot of 'we get it and you don't' going on here. Why does it matter? If the members of the ruthless truth have only just started on their journey and their egos are running wild so what? If they stay at that level for the rest of their lives so what? None of it matters. Let them play. They seem to be having lots of fun. You are trapped in your enlightenment is that it? You're rapped by it? Your amazingly dull really aren't you. Is there any courage left in you?

recognition of no self. even if you don't call it enlightenment, what it most certainly is, is freedom. You are a slave to the idea of freedom. I have. Long ago. Unlike you I kept going. The fact that insist on sharing what you have found means that you have. All realizations are meaningless if you don't discard them and push forward. Realizations are in fact attachments. And tbh if you don't see the value in this recognition then i would put it to you that you haven't actually had it yet What value is there in moving from one prison cell to the next? You are in no-self prison. You have propped up your legs and made yourself very comfortable there. Trust me when I say this. There will be many more traps along the way. You are very lucky to be hearing this. You may not get this opportunity again.Open your eyes to what I am saying. The mind/ego thrives on the idea that it has found truth. Realize that you are your own worst enemy. The moment that you feel comfortable, you are being lied to. Leave everything behind, even your silly realizations. Don't stall. Keep going and don't look back. This is the best advice that you will ever receive. Look Jed. It is not good enough to push forward ALONE while the entire world burns. We push forward at a good rate, but we stop to guide those who want to come too

Neither of you two are worthy Authorities on this. Michaelsees you have not even embraced this basic teaching you can not see that.
Iris, you are happy to allow the world burn scratching it down as an attachment. believe we are not attached. We fight the urge to slip to the void very hard. Very hard.
Our enlightenment does not require we fight, the reality of humanity and it's dire state does. Attached or not it is more important than one mans slip to the void, though slip we do, we bring others with us, enlighten them and set them on the path.

I often would has this doubter in my head invalidating any progress. I use to feel it was a bad thing. Now I'm glad for it. It never let me snow myself.
The folks who are fooling themselves (not saying the peeps on RT are or aren't), I often wonder what their coping mechanisms that allows their continued suffering simultaneous with their belief in being free. What is it? I'd have to guess it's sharing AHAs with people and vicariously living through them again.

I'd have to guess it's sharing AHAs with people and vicariously living through them again. Stepvhen is a prime example of what I've stated earlier. Most will not go all the way because a complete disidentification with self is very difficult. The temptations to prolong identification are very strong. Most will latch onto their gurus, friends, family, beliefs, etc. In Stepvhen's case he's latched onto the identification with a role that involves freeing the world. The ego will fight all the way to the end. It wants to feel good, it wants to feel special. That in itself is a trap. Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. (Tyler Durden, Fight Club)

Hey mate. Its interesting that you acknowledge that we have infact recognized the fact that there is no-self but we still have a huge ego. It's one thing to know what you are not. That's the easy part. It's another to know what you are. No mate. There is no something that 'you' are and something that 'you' aren't. If you are talking about awareness and equating it with something that 'you' are, then you are not serving humanity. There is awareness. Lets just leave it at that. How have you ever helped anyone mate?? You are so focused up in your 'going deeper' thing that you have not had the time to look at your fellow men and tell the truth of how you got there. You are all very happy to tell your insights which won't help them, and you think that making people consider this 'no you' thing is misleading them?? Haha! You're a joke. Haha. Really? Tell me about it. No mate, the mind can't easily get that because it is the mind that made YOU up. There is no YOU. This is true. This is something which does help people. I mean c'mon, why do you think Buddha took the negative approach to describe enlightenment? Why do you think that, unlike those Hindu enlightened monks around him, he chose to describe the state of enlightenment as 'no self' (annata)? Because everyone in the Hindu crowd were cheering on for 'I am God' i.e. 'i am awareness', confusing the unenlightened and giving their 'self' a leeway out. Buddha destroyed that pathway. Whose method was more effective?? Whose method did more good to mankind, although both were talking about the same thing?? Ya, keep spreading.

Do you people not realize how pathetic you all are becoming with this 'give up identification' thing?? Can anyone not work for a cause without being identified with it?? Do you seriously have the capacity to know for certain who is identified to what?? All your understanding of non-identification and non-attachment is absolutely flawed at its core. You people have taken the position of a premature monk who has taken his vows of sannyas not on the basis of his non-attachment to the world but because of aversion to it. Seriously. Look at yourself. Any action taken by anyone which seems to shake yourself out of your cowardice is judged by you of coming from a person who is still 'identified' with his 'ego' and is not resting in his 'inaction' state. Bullshit. Look at this people. Why is acting for a cause something which you all are frowning upon?? Ya.. The EGO that is not Real wants to feel special. C'mon guys... YOU don't exist - there is no such thing as the EGO! Oh ya. Please use this statement onto yourself and wake up. You are seriously trying to feel special by drenching yourself in peace and trying to stay away from doing any good in the world. Get your head in the gutter and help people.
