Could be wrong, but this sort of address seems to be a mix of sarcasm and disingenuousness and presumption... when one is awakened like yourself, do you commonly address strangers like this? However I have told you this more than once please do not act foolish it's fine if you want this just for you but it's not good going around misleading people that are sincere seekers. Also once again it's impossible for any one to be enlighten. To be enlighten there needs to be a subject to enlighten and there is none. What you call enlighten is only one illusion on top of another illusion. I may be talking to deep for you now if I am sorry. This is really very basic stuff. The moment you use the word enlighten in any nonduality settings it gives away that you know nothing about nonduality. yep I tell you this you take your medicine show to any real nonduality forum please do tell/point the way to the real nonduality forum! i would sincerely appreciate it. anyone else? Do you actually mean Peace? MDP p.s. thanks for the Niz tip. Do you have any recommendations for learning more? |

Max, Do a search on nonduality.com and here's a good one groups.yahoo.com/group/nondualitysalon/But a word of warning these members do not put up with your kind of BS. It's probably the most evolved nonduality forum on the net found by Jerry Katz's. If you really wish to learn the real stuff go there. I would advise you not to mention anything about RT you will become mince meat in a short time. The members are nice and some are brilliant but they would not put up with BS. M, Gosh who alive that I consider a real master hard question. A lot of members here do not believe as I do. I see awakening as a process. I do not believe you are awaken and that's it the ball stops there but in fact it's never ending and as it goes so does the evolution of awakening. Generally speaking I see 3 groups Group 1 are the people who get it in their head only. They understand all the logic and think they are awaken. People like this will say things that it's really only a small shift, and you may not even sense it bla bla bla they are talking about the mind and none of these are awaken. Group 2 People that have had more than a few glimples of what the world appears as from a awaken state. These people have entered into the void and never looked back. They may have even had a psychotic break or just a hard time functioning for a while. These are newly awaken. Group 3 These are awaken beings who has spent many earth years in the body and in the stillness of being. This group will normally spend a great deal of time alone and they will find being alone in nature to be the most fulfilling place to be. This is by far the best group to get a teacher from however it's also the hardest. This group seems to never want to teach they value their alone time too much. Ramana Maharshi was like this he never wanted to teach and really he never taught in a way you would think of a teacher. He spent long times in his own type of Samadhi. He would just go in at will and he would be gone for hours and this could happen any time. Niz was a little different I think at first he did not want to teach but once he started he began to love it. He liked to get really excited with him shouting the truth at the seekers and he loved to lite up a beedie every time he would be excited like this. He was a very rare being and actually the only one that went deep into the existence of what lays beyond consciousness. Ok when I look around today I really don't see any teacher that fits this level. There was another teacher who was also in this group Robert Adams but he's dead also. There are 3 websites that have evolved from Robert's teachings ; itisnotreal.comwearesentience.orgwww.robertadamsinfinityinstitute.org/But as teachers goes it's really hard to say. In, like 35 years I could not make it .. i'm still totally involved in egotic behaviors. I did not even know if I have a self and if there is any possibility and benefit in escaping from this supposed to be here "self". on top of this in a few day I will drop off this forum and, being french, my english is not good enough to quite understand and convey in english, what I mean...
But if you think you can teach me, let's go for it and let's see how much I can learn.

Very interesting group that Ruthless Truth.
It's clear to me you guys have awakened. I think you guys are doing a good thing, but at the same time are a bit delusional. To claim that realizing no-self is the end all is absurd.
I encourage you guys to go further and focus on your own awakening. Don't fall into the trap of believing that no-self is it as I think most of you have.
I know it seems huge when you start out and realize that you don't exist, but when you go deeper you will come to see that no-self is not that big a deal.
I know that you guys want to free the world, and I think everyone goes through that when the awakening begins. But imagine the whole world running around at the stage you are at... Huge egos. Do you think that world peace would result? Or do you think they'd form groups and attack each other just as they always have? Think about that.
I don't want to preach, but I wish that I had someone like me to give me a push and say...
Keep going my friend, you are far from done.

stepvhen there is so much that is incorrect in your post above that I will not waste time with you except to say you have a very long way to go even longer than a person starting out because you have trap yourself and don't even see it. Your ego is in top gear and you don't know it
Before your time there were ton's of self improvement gurus doing exactly what you are doing not only is it not beneficial it screws up your mind to think you have actually got awaken. There is miles and miles between intellectually awaken or enlighten as your group and true real awakening which only happens beyond the mind and does not stop there it goes to beyond consciousness itself and does not stop there the new inquiry from beyond consciousness is what is the absolute seeing it's beyond consciousness who is it that see this. When and if you ever get to that place you can say you are fully awaken. Your group doesn't even make it to the first step. It's all in your head Max

Its interesting that you acknowledge that we have infact recognized the fact that there is no-self but we still have a huge ego. We don't. But because we are the ones who are taking action and not willing to settle for the 'blissed out peace on a mountaintop' but instead want to bring this recognition to everyone that we seem to carry egos around it. I agree that the recognition of no-self doesn't bring instant permanent peace but it does bring freedom - freedom from everything. It takes time to settle your own shit - which means deepening the awakening in your terminology. Anyway, we have decided that deepening this will eventually be taken care of but whats more important for the world right now is to recognize the truth of 'no you'. Take care, cheers! |
