A lot of people consider him neo-advaita, but I don't -- and he doesn't consider himself that way.
Of all the famous living Western teachers, I respect him by far the most.

I only watched 5 minutes, but yes. Though he made me chuckle in the first couple of minutes because he started to try and explain the problem with what they say, but he couldn't, because...as he then recognized, if Ramana said those same words, they would be accepted. There is truth to neo-advaita....but it's like buying a tin of macaroni cheese. It's true that it's macaroni cheese but it's a poor substitute for home made macaroni cheese, and eating the tinned one won't satisfy the longing for the authentic one.
