Hello everybody! I'm very interested, what is spirituality for you, what practices do you do, and how does it change your lives?

Hello everybody! I'm very interested, what is spirituality for you, what practices do you do, and how does it change your lives? Welcome again veets. Spirituality for me represents where my core curiosity about myself, life and other people has landed. That happened suddenly and unexpectedly going on 6 years ago now, as up until that time the curiosity had been only consciously directed by intellect toward secular subjects. I sporadically practice some light yoga and sitting meditation that involves a mish-mash of self-taught techniques. A few years ago this transitioned into a 16/7 process of observation of body and mind that has gone through several different cycles of intensity during that time. What flipped the switch was reading Tolle's "The Power of Now", and you might say it was sort of a gateway drug to Nisargadatta, Ramana and an interest in Zen as a spectator, as well as a sort of reconciliation with the Christianity I never embraced. Was there anything in particular about this forum that led you to open the dialog? Are you familiar with the site that is the parent domain of the forum? What does spirituality mean to you, and what practices do you do? I'm from the U.S., where are you from?

Shawn Nevins is the owner of the forum and the site that is the parent domain of the forum. He's a filmmaker in San Fransisco, and I believe you might be able to find some youttube or other videos with him ... I recall watching an interview at nevernothere. A few of the members have met him -- maxprophet and 'dusty and I think a few others.

Hello everybody! I'm very interested, what is spirituality for you, what practices do you do, and how does it change your lives? - Spirituality is a term i no longer use to express elements within my own journey, but i will use it if the other has an association with it. - I contemplate. - It doesn't, i do the changing.
