Cycles occur. They simply are ... so obviously it is the expectation that is at the root of the madness. (** mad scientist snicker **)

Einstein made reference to God not playing dice with the universe on more than one occasion concerning quantum mechanics. The quote the article says is wrong is pretty close. I'll try to find the exact quote. It's something like, I'm sure God does not play dice with the universe. So the title of the article is wrong, this quote isn't totally fake.
Einstein had a quote similar to the erroneous counting quote. As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality.
Einstein said something similar to another erroneous quote, A problem can't be solved on the level it was created on.
I didn't know the insanity quote wasn't Einstein.
I didn't know the starry awe of the heavens quote wasn't Einstein.
I've never heard any of the others.

"Stop fake quoting me!" -- Albert Einstein "Einstein accepted the existence of the fifth dimension" hey fun-sucker ... what does the fact checker say? (the 'movie' is segmented into 10 parts, the quote in question was used on segment 5) (and the question is 'did Einstein accept the existence of...'?) (or Hawking for that matter)

(the 'movie' is segmented into 10 parts, the quote in question was used on segment 5) (and the question is 'did Einstein accept the existence of...'?) (or Hawking for that matter) Stopped watching at 5:00 with the following serious response: Many-worlds is an interpretation designed to save material realism, but as far as I know, even by this interpretation, there is no way for one world to effect or trade information with another. So even if it's true, it has no consequence on our experience ... at least not one, that as far as I know, can be predicted. If that's contradicted somewhere later in the video let me know and I'll watch it and comment if you'd like me to. The 4-d version of ourselves is a cool idea that can serve as the basis for some interesting contemplation on the nature of time, space, events and outcomes (essentially, our sense of reality) -- as is recognizing the fact that the currently accepted model of space, time and gravity (General Relativity) is currently irreconcilable with the model (Quantum Mechanics) for matter and the other 3 forces, including electromagnetics.

(and the question is 'did Einstein accept the existence of...'?) (or Hawking for that matter) Ahhh, ok, didn't see your edit. I'll watch the rest of it to that point then. Einstein never accepted Quantum Mechanics. Period. ... so questioning which specific metaphysical interpretation he had of it is like asking what blue tastes like.

(albeit clarified later with the edit)

Yes, definitive proof of the many-worlds interpretation. I'm sure that a Nobel is to follow (once she gets back to her alternative-reality home from the other-psychiatric-wing of the alternative-universe-hospital).
