"Someone asked us, 'Abraham, do you ever feel negative emotion?' and we said, 'By your standards, we always feel positive emotion, but by our own standards, which are infinitely more discriminating, yes, we still have the sensation of lack and what is wanted'..."

The timeline between these last two is interesting. Que? Como? In '91 she makes a statement that can be misconstrued by someone thinking about it as a one-ended stick (only positive emotions) but contradicted by still feeling lack. In '99 she comes right out and says that if you hear a contradiction you've heard wrong. In the intervening years the way that her statements could be twisted into mental confusion by peeps thinking about them probably became clear during the course of her talks and Q&A's.

The answers they give always depend on the questions and the understanding of the one asking the questions. The A-H crowd has been changing significantly over the years. It's more mainstream these days.

Notice that A-H don't buy into the perpetugasm dogma! What she really has to say and the misconceptions about it became pretty obvious during the MT, and alot of it was what was obviously in the subtext of the hamstering but hyper-minded around: "I am the personal creator of my own subjective bliss-bunny heaven, and maintain the roof of it with happy-face stickering".

"If you stick a happy-face-sticker on your gas gauge, it might look cheerful, but you will run out of gas. It's ever so much better to be able to see the indicator." Abraham-Hicks, 2007

"We would never move forward in the face of negative emotion. There are many people who would teach you otherwise. They say, you've got to face fear to get over it. And all they do is desensitize themselves to the point that they get themselves into situations where they have no idea what's going on, and the end of them comes rather abruptly... And then everyone calls them brave." - Abraham
