What is/was your favorite existential question? I'll start with one:

I never had a favorite question, but the one that ended the search for truth went like this:
Absolute samadhi is what can be conceived as "a unity-consciousness" state of mind because there is no self or other in that state. Similarly, cosmic consciousness and "flow" (relative Samadhi) are similar states of mind in which selfhood is absent. These states come and go, so how is it possible for a person to remain in a unity-consciousness state of mind all of the time (permanently)?

From about the age of about 17-24. What is the nature of reality and my relation to it such that how did I emerge out of it and how can I cease to be this puny little know-nothing inferior sorry piece of sh*t?
(edit) After 24, what is the nature of man, specifically my nature, such that to what extent can I know the nature of reality? I learned that "this puny little know-nothing inferior sorry piece of sh*t" is not who I am, is actually in the way of learning more about reality. Personality consists of dead abstract memories, zapping the life out of us, stealing our energy, and has to be "de-created" (Simone Weil), what Thomas Keating calls dismantled (in Invitation To Love where he discusses St. Anthony and other Desert Fathers).
.........So I don't know why it is said here by many that existential question are misconceived.........Man can go as deep as his nature allows........and the nature of the reality we perceive (and don't perceive) is not purposeless........

In a way, it's relieving to see oneself as realitivly powerless rather than imagining one is a god.

Maybe it's an aspect of being a firstborn or being allowed great freedom. My attitude and outlook as a child could generally be summarized as "Bob the Great!" LOL

What is/was your favorite existential question? I'll start with one: 14 years old or there abouts: "God, if you exist you better make yourself known, coz I aint gonna wait much longer". The bastard ignored me!
